We absolutely love, Julius! He has been cutting my husband and 2 boys hair for over 5 years now. We will follow him wherever he goes. All of my boys have crazy cowlicks and he is the only person we have been to that knows how to tame them haha! He is patient, talented and just an overall great person. He is like family to us at this point. If you are looking for a new barber, for yourself or your kids, I highly recommend, Julius! You won’t regret it.

Never had an issue with this Barber shop. If they are running behind you’re told as soon as you sign in. I’ve only ever waited 5 -10 min MAX(Booked online). I would highly recommend online booking to avoid wait times. I’ve seen some walk-ins shocked at the fact that they “have to wait”. They do offer free commentary beverages while you wait. So if you are going to be a walk-in, pop out your phone and enjoy a beer while you wait. This is an adult barber shop first, but I’ve seen plenty of kids get their cut here too. They also have some entertainment for kids while they wait, such as TV and X-box. The staff are all very nice and usually engage in conversation if you engage back. Although, barbers are people too, so I wouldn’t expect them to talk 24/7. I always let them start up a conversation first. Personally I recommend Aliza. I never paid attention to hair styles until I came here. Aliza is always patient with me asking all types of questions. Always good vibes and never a dull moment. Thank you Aliza you’re the best!

Great place! I have been going here monthly without fail for almost half a year now and I will keep going! Brittany is my go-to. I have had a lot of trouble with other salons not understanding how to cut my thicker, straighter, Asian hair, but Brittany has really worked with me to understand how exactly it should be cut. She is also a wonderful person to have a conversation with. Definitely go here!

I enjoy coming to Cool Heads because of the added services they provide that are beyond that of a regular salon. With that said, I’ve only been able to find one person who understands how I would like my hair / beard style. I’ve been 4 times, and I’m only in the computer once, so there continue to be no notes to follow regarding how my hair / beard was trimmed during the previous visit. I’m not sure if this is done on purpose because it’s valued information or because the system doesn’t work, but it’s frustrating when the one person who is able to meet my needs is out of town.

I brought my son to JULIUS the barber – my son was so excited and kept looking at the barber with such enthusiasm to be getting a “Big Boy Man Haircut.” Sadly Julius didn’t even say a word to him. I’m not complaining he didn’t play or joke around with him – I get it this is an adult barbershop. I mean he didn’t even speak or acknowledge him like you would to any customer coming for a barbershop experience. My son is pretty social so he even tried to make small talk with him but got nothing in return. He was so thrilled but it really deflated the experience for him. I **might** come back but definitely NOT recommending Julius because of that sort of interaction. Honestly even for an adult that’s kind of disrespectful to a customer. I found out later there’s some drinks – would have been nice to even offer a juice box or something for the kid…

I sought an appointment for a Basic Haircut..what they call an Essential. I did mention to the stylist that I was new and had never availed their services before. She gave me a hair cut. But I didn’t get any steamed hot towel, for face neck and ears. No suggestion was made at the end of the haircut. Was I to “ask” for it?

2 stars only because the haircut was decent. But costed $40. The tips are compulsory which is crazy. And not just that but they also force you to pay a minimum of 25% in tips. Like are you out of your mind. Never coming back. This business won’t last long. $40 with the minimum tips for a basic haircut. That’s outrageous. Haircut
