My son has very straight hair that is hard to blend evenly and texture. I typically just take him to Great Clips or Super Cuts but I just can’t take the bad haircuts anymore. I hit up Google and decided to give Cool Heads a try. For starters the facility is amazing. Super comfy chairs, large TVs, complimentary drinks and even a foosball table! Melisa C. was his stylist and the haircut came out amazing – best one he’s ever had (and he loved it too). She was super friendly, nice to talk to and took the time (and had the skills) to provide a perfect cut. Thanks Melisa! We’ll be making Cool Heads our new haircut spot – looking forward to coming back soon. You should definitely check this place out, highly recommended.

Happened to be in the area and drove by this place. I was looking like a ragamuffins so I felt a nice head shave was in the works. One customer was just cashing out and Melisa said she didn’t have a client scheduled and could get me in immediately. She started with a complimentary drink while she cleaned her station. After getting me settled, she gave me a quick scalp shampoo and a heated towel treatment and proceeded to give me a great straight razor shave.

Had an opportunity to stop at cool heads salon for men today with a few senior friends. It was a great visit they got haircuts while I just waited and watched the customer service experience was very great. When the friends got out of the chair they were smiling from ear to ear very happy about the haircuts they received as well as the customer service I can guarantee they’ll be back for another round of haircut soon.

Melisa the manager was very rude as was her coworker some trashy tattooed thing that shouldn’t be working in anywhere with dealing with the public imo. These two ladies have forgotten what customer service is about, I asked Melisa to cut my hair a certain way and she refused and said she could not and asked me to leave and never come back. I told them what I thought about them and gladly went down the street and got my haircut the exact way I wanted it for half the money. I’m sure the owner of Cool Heads has no idea his employees are running of customers just because they disagree, but If I were him I would fire both of those employees for taking money out of the company. Good Riddance to this place, sooner or later these types of people are going to understand that they are their to serve the public and that kindness is always the best policy.

Mark my words. This place will go out of business. There is no possible way they are profitable. Every time I’ve been here there has only been 2 stylists working. This is peak hours by the way. They have about 8 booths, also. A great location, but strange management decisions. The door says walk-ins are welcome, but that has never been the case. I have been turned away 4 out of 5 times. Would’ve been a great convenient location for haircuts, but the management is too bullheaded with staffing. Heading to the boardroom, which I am also not a fan of. I wish flowermound had a good spot, but it seems good work is hard to find. Barbero in Allen was my favorite place before I moved here but an hour drive is a little too much for a haircut.

I’ve gone to Tune-up for years in a different city with great success, but the last few times it’s gotten a bit extra with trying to push the unlimited monthly plans. This place took over for Tune-up, which failed probably for the above reasons, and they have done an outstanding job. The staff was nice, and it was clean. The only issue was the website to make an appointment was a bit clunky, not sure how long they have been there but hopefully it will be better in the future. Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely make an appointment.
