Tammie was our stylist! I booked with her in advanced through the app as she is the most reviewed and this was his first haircut (15 months old). She was so wonderful with him. My husband stayed back and watched from a distance, while I took pictures here and there. I told Tammie I wanted to be respectful and not get in her way. I’m so happy with his haircut! She talked to him the whole time and put on one of his favorite movies to distract him. He fidgeted a little but she was patient and gentle. I’m so happy I came here and booked with Tammie!

We have gone to the northville location for years and usually do not have any problems. Normally we see Tammie who is amazing especially with kids who have special needs and hate haircuts. At times when she isn’t available we have seen other stylists that have been great as well. Unfortunately on our most recent trip we saw Jennifer who managed to butcher both of my boys hair. Right before holiday pictures to! I don’t ask for anything difficult when getting my boys hair cut. I only ask no blunt or to short bangs. She managed to do both on both of my boys! They’re Christmas pictures should look great! There is no way to fix it and I can’t reschedule pictures. This place has also gone up in price three times in the last year and a half! I understand product supplies have gone up but a boys simple hair cut usually only requires water, scissors and a buzzer. They do have a lot coupons and sales but still. $22 for a basic boys cut adds up when you have more then one child. For now we will stick with only tammie but I think it’s time we soon find a new hair place.

Well I gave it two stars cause she did cut his hair. My stylist was Tanisha. Yes, I had to rebook my appointment because I thought I had a different time than I had scheduled. I wasn’t there as I have been dealing with his younger sister. My husband’s response was she didn’t care about her job at all and looking at his cut I’d say so. I can screw up his hair this bad at home for free. Won’t be back. First and last.

We booked our 4 year old son’s first haircut with Tammie. She had amazing reviews and I just had to have his first haircut experience be with someone who had experience. Boy did she make this first hair cut with my son a good one. She distracted him and had some cool names for her hair cutting tools that engaged him too in the process. She was so quick with cutting his hair too! He had about 12 in long ponytails to donate and we love where they chose to donate to—Kids with Alopecia. It was such a good experience!

Tammy was incredible with my daughter. She is 2.5 years old and this was her first professional haircut. Tammy made her feel so comfortable and was so sweet and compassionate. The tv, balloon and fun little car that she got to sit in made her feel so special. This is a wonderful place to take the kiddos. Tammy has a new client in us and we will definitely be going back! Tammie was absolutely amazing!!!! I have been a great big ball of stress about my son getting his first haircut, within seconds she made that disappear. He did so fantastic and I have her to thank for that. She was patient and made it fun for him, he didn’t cry once. Any time he would start to get a little bit upset she distracted him and made him smile, not to mention gave him a great haircut. Definitely a wonderful experience that beyond exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be returning for his next haircut.
