We took my daughter, 3 year old, for her first haircut. She LOVED it! They washed her hair, she was nervous but they did an excellent job explaining what was happening. Then she sat in a fun chair and watched a cartoon while they cut her hair. After the cut she got an “Elsa” braid, balloons, and a lollipop. All while her baby brother played in the play area. I highly recommend Cookie Cutters! We drove from Port Saint Lucie for the experience.

I was really nervous about taking our 2 year old son (almost 3) to get his first haircut because of unfavorable Google reviews but I couldn’t be more grateful to Ruth and her staff for making his first haircut the positive experience I was hoping for. Our son has been red flagged for autism and is startled by loud noises so naturally I was concerned about the use of electric clippers. Ruth respected that and cut his hair with scissors. When I requested she try the clippers she did so cautiously and patiently. They kept him calm the entire time which I was afraid would be an issue. All in all it was a highly pleasant experience and I’m so happy we used cookie cutters’ expert services! The baby’s first haircut package was absolutely darling too! Thank you so much Ruth!

This was our first time going to cookie cutters and they were amazing. Very welcoming and nice. Our son is autistic and absolutely hates getting his haircut. Kristen was very patient and sweet with him. She did an amazing job. I also got my haircut from her and she did great and did exactly what I asked for. This will be our new haircut place. Definitely recommend to anyone, but especially for parents with special needs children.

We took our son here for his first haircut. He is only 17 months old. The staff was so great with him! Nikki was the stylist who cut his hair, and she was so patient with him, even when he squirmed! Definitely recommend this place for all parents who have children. It’s 45 minutes away from where we live, but definitely worth the drive!! Will definitely be back!!

My 3yr old absolutely hates getting his hair cut, he cries terribly and we have told him while he squirms as they cut his hair. Ms. Ruth was utterly amazing, she was calm and just kept reassuring him and me. She was patient, understanding, reassuring but most importantly she was kind and gentle. The whole team was just great when we were there and tried to him my son feel safe! I can’t thank you all enough but especially Ms Ruth, I just can’t believe how great she was.
