We had a wonderful experience at Cookie Cutters with both of my daughters’ haircuts. They have curly hair and were in need of a trim. The ladies were so kind, precise with their haircuts and efficient, as it was a busy Friday afternoon. They also gave my girls beautiful braids and a flower in their hair, plus balloons and a lollipop. Claudia also did an excellent job doing a mommy haircut on me too taking off 5” and styling it with layers to frame my face. All 3 cuts done within one hour! Love this place and will absolutely be back when we return to L.A.!

We did a family haircut trip here with all three of my girls and me (Mom). The staff was quick and friendly and the girls had fun. My two-year-old loved the fun chair, and the stylist was able to get a straight cut despite her been a typical wiggly toddler. They also gave us a cute certificate and had balloons and lollipops for the kids. The prices were similar to those of the Supercuts down the street, but the salon is more catered towards young children. I just got a bang trim so I can’t rate the overall adult hair cut for someone wanting a more involved style, but I liked the fact that we could all get our hair cut at the same time. Overall we had a positive and fun experience!

The stylist are too rough with little girls with long hair. I was in line for one stylist until i saw how rough she was being with another little girl. I asked for a different one, clearly expressing that my kid was extra sensitive and needed extra attention and gentleness. I was then switched to another. I ended up brushing out the knots when she handed me the brush after my 3 request to slow down and not pull my kid’s hair. I asked for the first time cut experience to save some of her baby hair. That was an ordeal. After the first cut to save the hair I asked for a most basic blunt, straight across cut for my daughter. The hair was not dried to ensure ends were evenly cut. After driving home and the hair partially air drying it is so uneven! I don’t understand how this happen as my daughter was not really moving during the cut. The worst first haircut experience ever!

Cut My 1 year old sons hair for first time, and on his birthday. I got the First Hair Cut package, which they give you a certificate with his picture and a lock of his hair. Gladys was so good with him. I was so surprised my son was letting himself get his cut. They put the tv for my son, and it was my choice of what to put! Highly recommend. The environment was amazing, my child surely hates hair cuts he went in with a frown and left with a smile. The hair cut was super fast. However, it looked like it was done super fast too. The hair stylist didn’t know how to fade and basically just cut him all even. Even though I said to use a .5 guard to a 1.5. I’m going to leave it as they are not experienced with cutting African American hair. It wasn’t horrible but can be better. What’s important is he loves it and wants to go back. It will do for now to get him use to hair cuts.

My son (almost 2 years old) had his first hair cut here. He was very excited and then sat in the chair and starting throwing a fit. They were amazing with him and actually managed get get a cute cute in while he was squirming around. I was amazed. He also liked that he got to sit in a car while getting his cut. He is still talking about that. Recommend for first cuts!

I took my two year old for her first hair cut. I made the appointment online which was very easy to do. I knew my kiddo was likely going to be scared and cry, and I thought her stylist, Rebecca, did a wonderful job when she did just that. She was calm and quick, and did a great job in just a few minutes! She asked if we’d like to keep a lock of her hair and I said no. Of course, I realized before we left I would like some of those baby hairs after all. Thankfully, Rebecca knew better and had kept a lock and had already brought it to the reception desk. I thought that was so nice! They gave us an adorable “My First Hair Cut” certificate with a picture of our daughter, the lock of hair, and date of the appointment. I was delighted – even though I didn’t think I was going to want it! We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. I will absolutely be going back!
