They have a note posted on the door (see pic)if you’re late they may reschedule your appt. What about when you’re early, than when it’s 15 minutes past your scheduled appt time after you have been signed in, the stylist tells a “walk in”they can squeeze them in before you. So after waiting 27 minutes 22 past our appt we were finally given a 9 minute so so haircut. Place has become a circus. What’s the point of an appt. How do you explain to a not even 2 yr old he has to wait.

I’ve been bringing my children to cut their hair for 2 years. We always have the best experience with the kind manager that works here. Today, however, was disappointing. I always book separate time slots for their cuts. We were late to the first appointment, so understandably, we had to reschedule. But they told us that we had to reschedule both! I said no, we have an appointment scheduled for a different time and had to show proof of that to the woman. The employee was so rude to us. I’ve worked in retail and customer facing business before. There is just a better way to handle things. I was fine having to reschedule the other, but the way they spoke to us and didn’t even try to be apologetic about the situation or help us find a solution was so disappointing.

We have been coming to Cookie Cutters since our 6 year old son was a baby and we just love the staff so much! We had the pleasure of having Marina, one of the newer stylists, do our sons haircut yesterday and she did a fantastic job! Additionally, she was the only employee working on a busy Friday afternoon and handled everything so professionally. Not only is Marina awesome, but Arnise and Erica have cut my sons hair several times and they are always so accommodating and kind (and do a great job on his hair of course). I am sure the environment in a childrens hair salon can get overwhelming and chaotic at times, and these ladies just always make our experience seamless. Thank you, Cookie Cutters Staff!

I am so disappointed that we brought my son here for his first haircut. His hair was beautiful and it’s a complete mess now. It was uneven and missing huge chunks in the back. I had to take him to a professional barber to get it fixed. They basically had to give him a very short crew cut (shaved sides) to fix what the hair dresser did at cookie cutters. Please consider looking elsewhere if you’re looking for a special experience.

Drove all the way up to Carmel and the door is locked. Two people sitting inside just looking at me . I see on the door that it states no walk-ins welcome. It says that nowhere on the website so I decided to call while I was standing there and I get the voicemail. It’s hard enough to travel with your child at appropriate times but nowhere does it say on your website that appointments are required and the fact that the two people sitting inside could not come out and let me know this or better yet answer the phone . I was really looking forward to getting my sons haircut at a children’s specific place but unfortunately we will not be returning.

Rudest customer service ever!! We made an appointment online for 3:45pm. We show up at 3:35pm and are told someone else has an appointment at that time and she won’t be able to see us unless they don’t show! Well at 3:45pm no one shows so my husband asks if my son can go ahead and get his hair cute since the other appointment didn’t show. Arnise proceeds to tell us not to get smart with her because she doesn’t even have to see us and that it’s her choice on whether she wants to cut my son’s hair or not. We absolutely will not be back!! Lack of help does not mean that you treat people with disrespect!

This place is super cute inside. There’s a little slide for the kids when they’re waiting. They do take reservations, but we didn’t have one and didn’t wait long. There are little cars, horses, etc. for the kids to sit in and they have a large selection of DVDs to choose from that they can watch while they get their hair cut. Our first haircut wasn’t great, but they were very responsive and let us come in and get it redone with no trouble. They were really kind about it and my daughter was happy to get to go back and watch a show.
