Recently I visited The Comfort Spa in Westwood,NJ with back and neck pain. I received a great massage from a very professional and courteous massage therapist. I was amazed how much better I felt after only a one hour massage. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing and extremely clean. The prices are very reasonable also. Honestly this is the best place for a massage at the price hands down in this area. However tonight I was thrown off by the masseuse. I tipped 34 dollars on a 120 dollar service, nearly 30%. She asked for more money and got frustrated with me. Granted the last time I threw them 30 dollars each for a 4 hands massage, but that was because they stayed past closing for me & I was trying to show gratitude. I tried to explain that 20% is customary for good service, and that I tipped over that. They did not understand what I meant. I’ll change the review to 5 stars if someone can explain to me the problem, & possibly apologize or i’ll just never come back again.

My first time visiting. Highly recommend this Spa. I opted for a 90 minute full body massage. My specialist asked if I preferred “hard” or “medium” pressure before starting. She also adjusted the pressure to target specific areas that needed extra attention (traps, neck and upper back). Attention to the scalp and feet were also appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, low lighting. The restroom was clean and well appointed. I walked in without an appointment, however I would suggest calling ahead because they were quite busy. I will be returning soon.

Great massage at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly, and you can walk in most times without an appointment. You get the full time you pay for, and there are multiple options around time, so you don’t always have to get one full hour.

Very professional staff, great massage, you pay for and receive 1 hour, unlike the chains where you are lucky to get 45-50 minutes and pay $$ for an hour. No frills but very clean. Excellent value.

My husband and I were fortunate to meet Wendy and Anna while we were living in NJ. Since moving out of the area, we have not been able to find anyone that gives a body or reflexology massage like they do. I confess we primarily use Wendy, and every time we are visiting NJ this is one of the first places we go! Don’t miss out on the best massage around!
