This place used to be great and I have no idea what happened, but customer service has really gone downhill. I booked an appointment at 5:30 for a dip mani – the tech I had repeatedly told me he works too much and I was his last client for the day and he was ready to go home. He nicked me several times with the dremmel and never apologized. I asked for a matte top coat and whatever he put on my nails completely changed the color of my nails and made them dull, but definitely not matte. He also couldn’t be bothered for any lotion or a quick massage after he finished my nails, even though it was 6:45 and they are open until 7. Won’t be returning.

I came here because they had very good reviews. WORST PLACE EVER. We called to make an appointment for a rebase and a full set! We showed up, sat down! The girls were very rude from the start. They started on my mom and she was getting a rebase, they didn’t even do that they glued her nails instead of a rebase! Then they insisted on telling her she needs a full set next time! The lady that did my nails was very rude, she sat down gave me a nasty look the whole way through. She asked me to pick a color so I started to choose and then she got upset because she wanted to take my original color off. She then asked me if I wanted my nails cut, I said it didn’t matter because I was getting a full set! She was very frustrated that I wanted a full set, which my mom had told them prior that I do want a full set. I had picked out shellac colors but after she started on the full set she said I needed to do dip which I didn’t understand because my mom was getting shellac on her set. Then when it came to painting my nails she didn’t understand what I wanted. She did do a good job on my nails, once it came to the design a little sloppy. She gave me the dirtiest looks throughout the whole time and was not friendly. Another thing that was weird, is one lady came in to get a pedicure and manicure and they turned her down, then not 10 minutes past two other ladies came in and they took them in. I highly recommend going somewhere else because they were very unfriendly and made me feel very uncomfortable the whole time.

i got acrylic nails and they are way too thick and polish is all over my cuticals. not to mention the lady was not very nice. will not be coming back Acrylic nails

The lady got upset that I chose their express pedicure option ($5 price difference from the next option) and refused to speak to me and turned my water on cold. She did not file my nails or trim my cuticles so I will have to do that when I get home, and put my shoes on with my feet wet. The paint job was sloppy and messy.

Excellent salon – and I’ve tried many! My favorite nail spot in the area. I get dip powder and they’ve done a better job than any other nail salon I’ve tried in the Denver area. Solid work every time, clean, and so friendly.

I have been coming to this salon for about 3 years. I primarily get gel pedicures here. After getting a plantars wart at another salon, I was hesitant to ever have my nails done again. All the tools at Columbine Nails are autoclaved (sterilized) and not even the same nail file is used twice. They take cleanliness seriously. Any time I have come in with a special request, they have gone above and beyond to meet my creative needs. Highly recommend!

The lady who did my nails did a pretty good job. I got an SNS manicure, but after soaking off my gel manicure she didn’t ask if I wanted my cuticles done. I figured that since this is included when you get a gel manicure that when you get the more expensive SNS (aka dip) manicure that this was also included, but I was wrong. My cuticles looked terrible after she soaked off my gel because the acetone dried them out so bad. My manicure looks pretty good, but it was a tiny bit sloppy with a bit of the glue getting on my skin and me having to pick at it.

I’m very sorry to have to leave a review like this but it’s important for people to know. My family started out with a great experience nail wise, thought the staff was great and were looking forward to booking future appointments. As we left it was brought to our attention that a male nail technician had made a cruel and vulgar comment to our under age daughter. This employee denied it although he had repeated it twice. The owner apologized only after she and the employee said it must have been misheard through his mask. Please be aware and speak up if something isn’t right. We are very proud of our daughter for doing so.

I absolutely love this salon! I first started going there three years ago when I was two weeks postpartum. They were incredibly accommodating and kind, and it has been that way ever since. The salon is impeccably clean, and the nail technicians are so talented. They also make every effort to accommodate requests for appointment times.
