I absolutely love this place! All the girls here are super nice and chill. My stylist was Jordan and she made me feel like I have been friends with her for awhile even though I just met her. she offered advice when I needed it and didn’t pressure me to do anything I didn’t want to do. She was very knowledgeable and very informative with what she was doing. Also, she didn’t try to just chop my hair off like most stylists do haha. I highly recommend her. But either way looking at everyone who walked in and out of the salon, they looked bomb! I think they have a very good staff on hand!

Angel is the best hairstylist I’ve had! She is very talented with color, doesn’t mind spending the time it takes to get the results that look best. Karen Davidson is the BEST for color (regular coloring and hilights as well as the exotic colors, pink, blue, purple etc!) She is also amazing with cuts and styling. She does fairy hair as well and not many locations in the area can offer that. Definitely recommend the salon and KAREN specifically! She’s been doing my hair exclusively for 5 years!

Amy did an EXCELLENT job blending in my dark roots/gray ;). to match my beach blonde mess. She also did a super conditioning treatment that made my hair feel fantastic. This was my 1st time going to Colors Salon. Haven’t had my hair done since February because of COVID. Amy did an EXCELLENT job blending in my dark roots/gray ;). to match my beach blonde mess. Amy is a true professional who loves what she does. She makes you feel like you are her only client when you are sitting in her chair getting pampered. Not only is she a fantastic stylist and master of color, but she is a kind, thoughtful person as well which makes the entire experience so enjoyable every time. Amy treats my entire family as if they were her family. We love her and the whole staff at Color’s Salon.

One of the worst experiences ever! I had a CHI Smoothing treatment that cost $250 and 4 hours of my time. I have 6 years of experience with keratin smoothing treatments of different brands that have all worked as sold to me. I was told by the stylists at Colors that the CHI treatment was gentler on my hair but just as effective at smoothing. Who wouldn’t want that? So I had the service done. I waited the required 24 hours to wash my hair. During that time my eyes burned and scalp itched, but I toughed it out. When I began to wash my hair the next day, a terrible smell came from my wet hair, like a chemically cat litter smell. Luckily the smell wasn’t less strong once I dried it. But my hair was not very smooth either!! I complained to the stylist Danielle, who only told me that she would repeat the service if I wanted and that all smoothing treatments have an odor for a while. NOT TRUE!!! It took 3 weeks of constant washing to get the product from my hair. I asked for a refund, but was told that I would only get 1/2 my money back if my hair was “compromised.” Who knows what that means? I spent a ton of time and additional money to get rid of a horrible product that cost me a ton of money in the first place. Then I would have had to submit to having my hair examined by the very person who stood to lose $125 if my hair was deemed “compromised.” No thank you. Terrible place.

I absolutely love Colors Hair Salon in Jacksonville. Have been a client for three years and never been disappointed. Amy is my stylist and she always keeps my hair in perfect condition. She always tries to accomadate my crazy schedule, and will work you in whenever possible. You cannot go wrong at Colors!

Went to Amy for about 6 years before I had to move. She is THE BEST! I have long hair and am very particular and I trusted her wholeheartedly to take care of my hair. She is also the kindest, friendliest soul you will ever meet. When I moved to Havelock, I drove the hour and fifteen minutes to get my hair done, because she is worth it. If I ever move back, I will be going right back to her.

I just PCSd back from Japan and I usually have a hard time trusting people with my hair. So I found this small place that is thankfully open on Sundays! I had Danielle do my hair today. I told her, have fun with my hair and make it look natural. She did amazing! She was friendly and is very knowledgeable about hair and styling. This place has a great sense of hospitality and has some really down to earth stylists. I would recommend this place to anyone.
