I found them after trying about 5 other hair salons in the area that I was less than impressed with. I have only wonderful things to say about Colors. Carol, Krystal, Linda and the other staff are always warm and friendly and made me feel welcome from the first time I stepped into the salon. I love that the products they use are organic and more natural than what else is out there. That is the icing on the cake for me. I’ve been back to Colors a couple of times since COVID and they definitely take the safety of their customers and staff very seriously. They have many protocols in place and I felt very safe during my visits. For over a year I have been struggling with hair color products that gave me a burning and rash after each visit. I was at the verge of deciding that I had to go gray but really not ready for it. One day in driving through Cold Spring Harbor, I noticed on the sign in front of the Colors Salon that they had organic products to color hair and decided to see if they could help. Linda gave me an appointment the next day and Carol gave me a color sensitivity test. I had absolutely no problem, no burning no rash, and I am so happy to say that I don’t have to go gray! When I tell you I am thrilled beyond, I truly am. I also went and got a great new style from Joy. I like the fact that everyone at Colors is easy to talk to and willing to help.
