Dakota is such an amazing stylist! She’s very talented and knowledgeable, and I always leave with hair that I’m in love with. She also gives very good product and color aftercare recommendations to extend the life of my color. She’s very friendly and personable, and I love connecting with her when I visit. I cut my own hair for years before going to Dakota because most stylists had difficulty working with my hair texture (it’s mostly wavy, but very curly in some spots and pin-straight in others). She understands my hair texture very well and knows that I don’t like to cut my hair super often; so, she cuts my hair in a way that looks nice as it grows out. This was especially important to me because, in six years, I’ve had a mohawk, a pixie cut, a bob, a lob, medium-long shags, baby bangs, curtain bangs, etc. I change my hair a lot and my hair still looks good between cuts and styles. Dakota also gives great me advice about my styling and hair care routine while keeping my budget in mind. She helped me figure out which ingredients, products, and routines work best for my hair and my lifestyle. Dakota has been cutting my hair for 6 years and I won’t go to anyone else. I cut my own hair for years before going to Dakota because most stylists had difficulty working with my hair texture (it’s mostly wavy, but very curly in some spots and pin-straight in others).
