Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityMarissa is THE BEST. I had my highlights botched at a big name Philly salon (like my head was glowing brassy yellow and so damaged, not good.) At our initial visit Marissa really took the time to understand what I wanted my hair to look like and evaluate how to accomplish that. She was up front that it would probably take a few appointments to achieve what I wanted which I really appreciated. My hair now is the exact kind of blonde I want and SO much healthier/softer with far less breakage. The number of compliments I get about my hair is wild, even months after appointments.Marissa is THE BEST. Marissa is THE BEST. I had my highlights botched at a big name Philly salon (like my head was glowing brassy yellow and so damaged, not good.) At our initial visit Marissa really took the time to understand what I wanted my hair to look like and evaluate how to accomplish that. She was up front that it would probably take a few appointments to achieve what I wanted which I really appreciated. I have been going to Marissa for several years now! She specializes in color for blondes and I can’t even begin to count the number of times I have been stopped by a stranger complimenting me on my hair color. She is so talented plus she is able to travel to your home which is super convenient especially if you are a mom who finds it hard to be able to get away for several hours to get your hair done. Run, don’t walk, to Marissa! Marissa is THE BLONDE GURU, and she’s an absolute delight! After years and years of trying to find the right color for my naturally brunette hair, trying a dozen salons between Philly and NYC, I’ve finally struck gold (literally – but never brassy!) with Marissa. She corrected my color, made my white-blonde dreams come true, and did it in a way that made the growing in process look natural and purposeful. I just left my second visit to her charming salon, and I didn’t have to go back as soon as I did, but I *wanted to* as she gives me so much confidence.

Marissa is THE BEST! I had to find a new hair dresser 3+ years ago which is always painful. When I booked an appointment with Marissa for the first time, she was so sweet and helped me fix my hair that had been ruined by a previous stylist as I was searching for me new one! My hair was cracked and an awful color after being in foils for too long. I am naturally a light brown color with blonde hilites, and Marissa had worked with me to always adjust to what I would like every 8 weeks when I see her. From a full head of hilites, to partial hilites and lowlites and toner in between, she always makes me feel good when I leave her salon. I even tried extensions for 9 months and loved them – Marissa is great with up-keeping them as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARISSA as she is not only great with women’s hair, but she’s also become a great friend and I enjoy going to see her! xoxo
