The ambiance is very nice and relaxing. The staff is also nice. I usually go here or another place for my pedicure. When it comes to actually cutting cuticles and scrubbing callus off feet they are horrible at doing so. I had to cut my own cuticles when I got home. Also, I had to remind the lady to get under my toe nails. I simply only go here because of the environment and the hot wax they use on your feet. Overall don’t depend on this place if you are looking for a deep scrub or a in depth pedicure experience.

They are so clean (pre-pandemic) and even more sanitized during this pandemic time. They always have the best color options for pedicures and gel manicures. Colorful nails has been my favorite nail salon for YEARS now. I recently moved out of New Hyde Park and I travel 45 minutes just to keep getting my nails done here. I have mixed feelings, the women are sweet and the place appears to be clean. However, they don’t line the pedicure sinks, I saw how they cleaned it for the next customer and all they did was sprinkle water … no cleanser. During the pedicure they didn’t add the basic sanitizer pill nor any type of soap. They have signs for how you should tip and the one lady that speaks English said I should tip more the next time… 5 dollars is good enough for the pedicure provided. Anyway to each is own… sweet over sanitary ?

Overpriced, gel chips in no time and they have no problem rushing you. I was told to leave while my nails were drying because they need to close. They tell you how to tip even though my pedicure was not worth it. I tip accordingly and they did not deserve how much they demanded. Also, they refuse to take tip on card or give you cash back -Very inconvenient. The place is clean and well kept, though.
