my hair stylists name was maddie and i really hope she sees this. she did an amazing job in under two hours. good price too! the highlights are so blended it looks natural. i put a before and after the results are just amazing and i feel so much more confident. i’ve never written a review and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to do this but i just felt the need to because the service was so good. everyone there was very polite and the buisness is transparent. i’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair since i’ve gotten it done. i 100% recommend maddie for coloring!!

Critical: Quality, ValueI went to get my hair lightened and was aiming for a medium/light brown; during the consultation & all throughout the appointment I was reassured that the difference would be noticeable. I’m asian & never have dyed my hair, and so my hair is pretty much dark brown/black but again, I was told my hair would lighten a few levels at least. When picking the color the stylist said my hair would get to a level 6 or 7. After the treatment my hair looked exactly the same and wasn’t lighter a single bit. I was still charged over $100 for the full color treatment + tip. I had a 2nd appointment scheduled to get highlights but after the first experience I don’t trust them to get my hair how I wanted. I went into the salon in person the day after to ask for a refund, but the receptionist said my stylist and the owner were busy but that they would call me once they were free. Later I received a call, but it was the receptionist, not any of the workers there who know anything about hair. He told me they could not do a refund, but I am starting to doubt the stylists were busy or even considered my situation. I understand dark hair is difficult to lighten, or perhaps the ladies have never encountered an asian client, but I really wish I wouldn’t have had to pay $100 for my hair to endure damage from dye and just look exactly the same. I’ve included photos of before and after (after is when I have goggles on) to show how there is no difference at all.
