Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI do not normally leave reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I felt that it was necessary. Do NOT come here if you are looking for color work done on your hair. I came here for a color treatment (balayage). I have dark brunette hair, and have had this kind of color work done before with no issues (at another salon in town, Buddaful). My normal stylist was unavailable indefinitely, so I looked elsewhere and came to see Hannah at Color Theory. My experience here could not have been worse. I left in tears – my hair looked like I had tried to bleach it in the bathroom sink of a gas station. Normally I have had this treatment done with color, hand-painted through my hair for a natural look. I kept emphasizing that I wanted my hair to look naturally lightened. Instead, my hair was turned yellow, and looked like a very bad highlight job from the 90’s. Hannah used bleach to lighten my hair, I have NEVER had this kind of treatment before done on my hair, and it looked anything from natural. Fortunately I was able to find another colorist locally who could see me the following day and fix the damage. I paid nearly $300 for the WORST color job I have ever received in my life, NOT including the cost I paid to have it fixed. I sent Hannah a message to let her know that I had gone elsewhere to get it corrected and was disappointed with the job she had done, and was not even given an apology for the damage she had caused.
