At first, I was elated that they took my niece and I as a walk in… And then the reality set in. We sat down and the clients started piling up. We waited a long time and when they finally got to us… It was the quickest pedicure that I’ve ever had! And I don’t mean it as a compliment. I didn’t feel valued, instead, the obstacle that just got in the way of the other clients. If they didn’t have time, then they should have been up front and told us so. I would have been fine going somewhere else (there’s a dozen a stones throw away.) I treat myself to pedicures for the relaxation and each step is very relaxing and that’s something I look forward to. But when she was done in like 30 minutes, I was both impressed and disappointed. I can however, say, that in spite of the rush job, the quality of the end product was surprisingly great.

First time visiting this location. I got a padi/mani combo. It took the lady less than 20 minutes to complete. It was rushed. I would not visit again. The entire time the lady kept answering the phone. I have been looking for a new place ever since my regular lady moved to Santa Monica. I would have been a lifelong customer if they took the care to do a good job. They made a quick buck, but lost repeat customer business.

Me like. Moved to a new nail salon because my last one was charging me a grip. I came across this local spot, they have plenty of ladies here, always on staff ready to take anyone available and place is pretty cozy. I love that they always have TV on so you’re constantly amused while you’re waiting. So far I’ve been here about 3 times and had three different women. They consistently all have done a very good job on my manicure and pedicure. My gel manicure lasted for about 3 weeks and a regular Medicare for me lasted about a week, so I’d say pretty good. Love Color Nails. Been coming here since they opened, so like10 years? Jeez. Ownership recently changed, but most of the same women work here and I didn’t even notice the change except for some new paint, etc. always friendly, and I’m always happy with the end result. In the sea of nail salons in the SGV, color nails stands out as one of the best.
