For the past year I have felt more and more like I was ready to stop spending the time and money necessary to stop the grays month after month, year after year. When I was finally ready to transition to my hair’s natural color, I went to Luba for her expertise and am so thankful that I did! I knew that the best way to transition to gray was by way of highlights, but I was very nervous about changing my hair color from my typical brunette/auburn to blond highlights.Luba called me within minutes of my request for an appointment and we set up a time for a consultation. We met and she listened intently as I explained what I was hoping to accomplish, which essentially was that I wanted to go natural as gracefully and quickly as possible and to stop dying my hair completely within the next year. She talked me through the process of highlights/balayage and assured me that I after my initial highlighting, I would really only need to touch up a few spots every 8-10 weeks until everything grows out and then I could be done coloring my hair. This was exactly what I was hoping to hear and I set up my appointment right away.I had a great highlight session with her a week later and I love the results. The change was a bit of a shock at first but I got used to the blond within a day or so and now I feel amazing! I have received plenty of compliments and the best thing is that I’m no longer insecure about my graying roots. I am looking forward to my touch up session and feel confident that within a year, I will truly feel like myself with my natural gray streaks. My hair has been graying in streaks around my face increasingly over the past five years or so and I was in the habit of dying my roots every 4-6 weeks. For the past year I have felt more and more like I was ready to stop spending the time and money necessary to stop the grays month after month, year after year.
