I made it to the door right before 2:00 PM on Saturday (today). It was already closed and the lady came out and I asked if they closed early today. She said, “We close at 2:00”. No They Don’t!! And I think it’s rude and unprofessional because I drove 30 minutes to get here!! I’ll find an upscale place where people want to work!!

The stand up orbit was great, they could extend the time a bit to 13 mins instead of 10 mins like in NY. Im very happy I was able to walk in and get a tan right away. The staff woman was spectacularly awesome!! Very nice clean would recommend for everyone.

I adore going to Coconutz….I made the mistake of going to another place last year. There was a distinct difference in every way….from the quality of the beds to the very atmosphere itself. When I walk into Coconutz I am greeted by my name and feel an immediate welcome. The tanning results regardless of the package purchased are superior. They are clean, well maintained and very low key and personnel. They stand behind their product in every way making sure your visit is 100% perfect. I would encourage anyone looking for a quality tan for quality price to check them out. The door is always open to welcome everyone.

I love absolutely love this tanning salon.It is always clean and it has a perfect atmosphere that truly lends itself to inspire relaxation! For the most part the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the packages they offer as well as the products they sell to enable me to achieve the result I am looking for. I read such high reviews so I went into the salon a few days ago in the afternoon looking for the tanning package as I am a pretty loyal Mystic Tanner coming from another state and new to the Beaufort North Carolina area.. I waited to write this review for a few days because I really honestly needed to calm down and be rational when writing about an establishment that affects a community… I must have hit an off day because the lady that I dealt with in the salon was very condescending and almost a little bit haughty when I asked about the pricing.. and asked if there was any packages that included the Mystic she said no we only have the visits and she asked me how many times a week I used spray tanning I told her and she made a remark of , oh wow .. I was trying to see what would be the most economical for me as being new to the area I am a very loyal tanner and I wanted to develop a foundation here at the salon seeing how it is closest to my residence… I am 49 years old and have all the places I have tan and throughout the east coast and across the country, I felt the most unwelcomed here that I think I have ever anywhere.. when I ended the conversation and told her that I thought that she was very Uncle light and that I was just going to leave she even commented to that and laughed and said that no one had ever accused her of being impolite but it was her tone and her attitude that was the most offencive to me as a customer…Where I’m getting with this review which is very detailed I know, is that when someone new comes into a salon and asking questions then it’s because they want to know.. not all customers are going to be satisfied but if they’re talking to you with respect give them the satisfaction of listening without judgement. When you make someone feel unwelcomed not only will they not come back but they will pass it along to others.. maybe she was just having an off day, maybe I was I’m not really sure but I know that it was a very unpleasant experience and I would not go back again. I am traveling to New Bern now for tanning which is about an hour from my location but it is worth it to me to get good service and to feel welcomed in a place that I frequent 3 or 4 times a week… Honestly the prices for the spray tanning are high but because of the location and because I enjoy spray tanning I would have paid the higher prices had I been welcomed better because customer service to me is everything.
