Winter is on its way and if you get seasonal affective disorder, this might be just what you need! As soon as you walk into Coconutz, it looks like you’re in a lovely little island retreat. The walls are bright, it’s warm, and it’s so pretty! I was greeted by one of the owners, Craig, and I received world class customer service. I wasn’t sure which tanning bed I wanted to use, so Craig took me on a tour and based on my specific tanning needs, recommended the hybrid bed with a UV and Red Light Therapy combo. I was given a spritzer bottle of chilled water and a chilled towel with essential oils for after my tan. Every detail for your comfort and relaxation is considered at Coconutz, down to the relaxing music that plays while you tan. The beds and rooms are sparkling clean, which I absolutely appreciate. After my tan, I perused the boutique to check out their offerings of clothing, accessories, lotions, and more. I felt much more relaxed and refreshed after my visit. I highly recommend Coconutz!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this salon and the staff! The beds are always spotless and I’ve yet to see a bulb out. Just got the hybrid UV and Red Light Therapy bed in!! Their selection of lotions and tan extenders is great! The knowledgeable and helpful staff are my favorite part about coming in. Craig and Heather are the BEST around and they help even the newest tanners feel welcome. I’ll be a lifelong customer ☀️

Had my first appointment last week, late Wednesday afternoon. About $40 plus nice tip. Was told if any problems just call but did not say time frame. I called on Friday morning and told them stomach and back had no color at all and legs looked like a leopard. Girl told me I should have called on Thursday and said they would do nothing. She was really rude. Emily had done my spray and had told me her days of work so I called when she got in on Tuesday and told her what happened. She too would do nothing. I would have been a regular every two week customer giving a nice tip. Just can’t get over bad service. Glad they don’t need new customers.

I have gone there twice while in town to see Sarah to get my eye brows waxed and my boyfriend nose waxed. She is very friendly, kind hearted, compassionate about her work. She explains what she is going before she does it. Needles to say my boyfriend and I will be making the three hour trip to get waxed again.

Today, Friday January 6th 2023 at 10:15am. Being new to the area and interested in tanning, I saw Coconutz off Sprague Ave. and decided to swing by. My interest was to get a tanning package. I walked in and had an unpleasant encounter w/ their female employee working behind the counter. I asked for a tour, and she replied “why, are you planning on buying something?” It caught me off guard so I made a purchase of a lotion by the Brand Hempz which was just an herbal body moisturizer and spent $28 (where it costs elsewhere around $15). I received the tour from the irritable associate who just walked and pointed to each room/bed. Did not share any detail regarding anything. The salon had two other customers walk-in as we were walking back to the front of the salon and the employee then told me I was going to have to sit down and wait while she helps the others if I’m planning on buying tans. At that point I thanked her for the time spent and she shrugged me off. The salon was cluttered with apparel that doesn’t appear to sell, as it’s not fashionable or in trend items. The tanning equipment was dated and non impressive. Worst of all was my experience with their hired help. I’m wondering if the owner of this business knows what’s really going on in there?!… They won’t be receiving my money any time soon.
