I can a full set from them and within days one of nails came off and my fingernail green. So I wanted to take the nails off to make sure my other fingers were not green and they charged me for it and then they charged me for being a antibiotic on my finger when they messed up my finger not putting the nails on properly. There was no remorse, they never apologized. They had the nerve to say I don’t know how that happened. You can go at your own risk. Very disappointed because my nails did look amazing.

Ive tried so many places between stamford and norwalk for a good old regular manicure, and honestly this place is the best imo. friendly and they give great back massages. Its not expensive and they are the only place who still soak your fingers for pushing cuticles back and give you little complementary hand massage… And I love that, most places just spray your dry hands with a water bottle and barely apply cream. My manicure always lasts a week or longer. Bring your own polish if you can though I don’t think the polish selection here is great. Especially if you like light or sheer colors. Ive had most of the technicians do my nails and they are all good. I enjoy the energy there its calm and I always look forward to my nail appts.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI had an awful experience here, I went in for a manicure, the woman was so rough with my nails I thought she was going to file right through to my skin, when she finally applied the nail polish it was so lumpy and bumpy, not an even coat at all, if I knew how to attach a photo here I would, they look awful. But that isn’t the reason I decided to write a review- I mainly felt the need to write this to warn others that they will hide hidden fees from you and change their pricing at your appointment! I asked the woman right when I came in how much a manicure costs because I’ve never been to their salon before, she told me it was $10 for a manicure, So I said that’s fine and proceeded to do the manicure. then after the manicure was finished she told me it was $15… Now I’m not one to fight over five dollars.. but I expect people to be honest with me when I come in to use their services, so it really bothered me that she suddenly decided to basically lie about her pricing and change it on me AFTER they finished.. I asked her why it was suddenly $15, she said it’s an extra five dollars to take off my old color that I had on before my manicure, I told her “well you didn’t tell me it was an extra five dollars to get my color taken off from my old manicure when I came in” – her response was “everybody knows that.” I just stared at her, I was shocked, I said “what do you mean everybody knows that? I’ve never been to your salon.. how would I possibly know that you charge an extra $5 to take color off?” She just kept repeating “everybody knows that everybody knows that” to which I calmly stated – “everyone in Connecticut knows your salon and knows you specifically charge $5 extra to take off old polish?” That’s obviously absurd. She didn’t have an answer and kept saying “every salon does that..everybody know that. “ I’ve been to plenty of salons that don’t charge to take off old color. Now again I don’t have an issue if that’s what they charge, but considering they don’t have a price sheet anywhere on their wall, and No sign anywhere with their prices (I looked around and didn’t see anything listed) the only way to know what you will be charged is by ASKING and this woman straight up didn’t mention it’s ACTUALLY $15. I told her “why couldn’t you tell me in the beginning when I walked in and asked how much a manicure is that it’s $10 for the manicure but an extra five to get my old color taken off so it’s actually a total of $15?” She didn’t have an answer for me and just kept babbling that everybody knows that’s how things are done…she definitely just decided last minute to charge me for some hidden fee that she made up on the spot.if you’re OK being lied to and possibly having your price changed at the end of your appointment, go ahead, I personally will not be coming back since the woman couldn’t even give me a reason as to why she changed her pricing on me and she obviously looked like she made that up on the spot ..as I was about to pay the $10 she suddenly said oh no it’s an extra $5- it’s like she just suddenly decided to make up a hidden fee because she felt like it. Terrible customer service, completely unprofessional and they lie about what they charge. Awful. I’ve been going to Coco for upwards of 10 years and I have not once had a bad experience. The prices are incredibly reasonable and their nail services utilize sanitized and clean instruments. The nail technicians and the massage therapists are always professional, welcoming, and make me feel at ease when I need a moment to relax.

Used to go to Coco ALL the time! I had an old gift card they at first they did not accept, but finally did. The person did GREAT on my feet. But then when it came to my nails, the got smudged within the drying period, and once they were all dried and kicked me out (yes they asked me to leave because my nails should have been dried, yet when I touched to show them they weren’t i got finger print). Yes I will still go back because they were really friendly, and did a better job on my sister nails, and my my feet so nice and soft, the person who offered my a massage was AMAZING and got out all my knots and made sure I was ok with him touching me.

I am shocked to read these other reviews. It is completely inappropriate to refer to workers by their race or ethnicity. All of the employees here are exceptionally good at what they do. I was a customer for three years and consistently experienced quality service. The salon is also very clean, and I think the woman who claimed it is “disgusting” in all capitals might be prone to hyperbole based on the tone of her post. This salon has many happy regulars like myself. My nails always look great, and I appreciate the friendly, familial atmosphere created by the technicians. Highly recommended!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityWent in for a regular manicure and it was completely rushed and of poor quality. If you visit please do not get your nails done by Nooby. If was a unpleasant experience. Will never return.
