Perhaps it’s because of the language barrier… but I asked for a 60min neck and back massage that turned into a 90 min session of slapping and pulling my skin. That was the weirdest massage I’ve ever had. We loved in Japan for 3 years and I’ve never experienced anything as terrible as that. After the 60 min was up she said we were finished but then came right back w a basket of hot stones and started another massage. When I went to pay she told me the balance was $75 but charged my card $77 and then kept asking me why I was tipping her. This was the worst experience and my neck still hurts!

Shittiest massage ever! I went in with a friend & they got an actual massage but I got the bad one. We both got the same massage too! $70 for 60min body massage and 30min foot massage. It was just slapping and pulling/poking the heck out of my toes! The body massage consisted of light pushing and every so often it actually felt like a massage but that lasted about 2 mins. I feel worse coming out of that place than going in. AND she said she didn’t agree with a $5 tip and wanted $10 instead! I gave it to her but will NEVER go again. I would’ve been a bimonthly customer. Skip this place if you can!

At the end of the massage they tell you the tip amount and won’t take less. Not too appealing. Then afterwards, tell you to refer your friends. I think a tip of a high amount is deserving of a much better massage.
