Welp Today sealed the deal I will never ever visit this place again. I gave this salon a break given past subpar experience with the service. I decided to return after some time off. However, for the last 2 months I decided to give it another go. Today I received a gel mani/pedi w/ Dianna, who despite being non-friendly does good work. Not today she rushed through the pedicure it was basically 15 minute (and I’m being generous) the manicure was better. I tipped according to the quality of service usually the tip is $10 today it was less. I went to pay (in cash) and gave a tip. I was promptly told by the owner that my tip wasn’t enough and that I should be given a 20% tip. I then said you’re telling me what to tip and with no shame she says yes and that Dianna complains that the customer tips aren’t enough… to which I responded well then you should pay her more and then I walked out (didn’t want it to escalate any further). However that’s it I will not be patronizing places that don’t respect me or my dollars. Good luck to whomever visits this place… might be worthwhile to ask how much the service plus tip is in advance. I say this because I’ve also witnessed the employees up charge mid-service on customers. It should also be noted that I just purchased gift cards for the holiday season. Not quite sure what I’m going to do with them, cause I won’t be going back. Wish I could give zero stars!!

ZERO Stars…Worst nail salon I have ever been too, received a gel manicure and eye brow wax by Emily. She was incredibly rude like I was inconveniencing her by getting my nails done. I went to leave and tipped her 10 dollars even though they looked terrible and rushed, and she proceeded to scream at me that I didn’t tip her enough which is completely embarrassing and unprofessional. Go to another salon

I have been a loyal customer at the Blue Bell location for years. I am a very good tipper. Seems like the quality of service has been continually decreasing recently (while prices went up). This last time was the last time. Bubbles and jagged edges on the gel nails, polish so far away from some of the cuticles the polish looks a week old, and some the polish is all over the cuticles. Toes have polish all over cuticles and sides. They look like a 5 year old painted them. They always slap the clear top coat on toes so it’s all over the skin (seems like every technician does this). Issues like these have been the final result for months. This past time I was going on vacation and was hoping for a good result (sometimes you get lucky). It was the worst. Go somewhere else, especially if you are going on vacation.

Critical: ProfessionalismI went here for the first time on November 4th and it will be the last. I read so many reviews about this salon and I didn’t want to believe the reviews about the rude behavior of the women who work there; Nor did I want to believe the comments made about how black women felt they were treated less than.Needless to say, my experience was awful. I am a mother of two young children and being able to breakaway for a little self care is a luxury and to have such a rude and unprofessional experience was a horrible let down. The woman who was doing my pedicure was rude, she never introduced herself and wasn’t wearing a name tag (or else I would list her name); she made me feel as though I was bothering her in an empty salon might I add. When it was time for her to do the cuticle cutting, she butchered my toes! I bled for majority of the time I was there. She put the paper towel on it and proceeded with the pedicure and when she saw that the bleeding hadn’t stopped, she told me to stick my foot in the water. It eventually stopped. However, she called another woman over (who resembled her a great deal) and she gripped my foot and proceeded to try to cut the cuticle of the butchered toe and became extremely angry and rude when I told her I did NOT want the cuticle cut!!! She then turned to the woman who was Otho ally doing my pedicure and began to speak in her native tongue and display body language that clearly indicated that she was ANGRY (as if she was the one with a butchered toe).I originally came to get a spa pedicure and manicure but once all of this happened I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. When I was leaving I was hoping that maybe the woman who butchered my foot would apologize or that someone would stop me and apologize but no one even said “Thank You” as most salons do. I originally was NOT going to post this review but now that my toe is swelling and aching in the area where she butchered my toe…I felt the need to share with anyone who may be considering this salon.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND KEEP SEARCHING.Services: Pedicure, Foot massagesI went here for the first time on November 4th and it will be the last. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueEmily who did my pedicure was rude and not good at the job. She hurt me and acted as if it were my issue. She also used non-sanitary tools that she pulled out of a drawer at her station. She barely spent any time on cuticles, massage, or pumice stone. I left her a tip even though she didn’t do a good job and she didn’t say anything when I handed it to her, just took it and looked away. I recently went here for gel application, the work was done beautifully. Not only was the service very friendly and fast, but the workers were extremely welcoming to me and really listened to me when I told them what I wanted. The environment is really clean and inviting. I had an overall great experience, and will come back for another gel manicure! Highly recommend!!

I have been going to the Conshohocken location for years now and love it there so I decided to check out the Blue Bell location. I got my nails and toes done by two separate individuals. When I left I gave my nail tech $20 stating it was for my nails and toes. As I was leaving, Annie chased me out the door yelling “no tip!” Not only was this totally unprofessional, but it was utterly embarrassing! The other techs chimed in and told her that I did in fact leave her a tip, but that incident was enough for me to never come back to that location.

I wanted so bad for it to be good, because it would be so convenient, and it’s so pretty and brand new ; what’s not to like? However, most of the nail polish was old, like they took it from an old location. I went on a Saturday , they seemed very unorganized. The boxes of supplies that the technicians used were full of old supplies. The nail files & buffers were all dirty; the cuticle scissors she pulled out of the box was not sterilized, looked like they had been used. They rushed a woman to the pedicure bowl. She had her feet in the water , and never got a chance to pick her color. The techs didn’t look like they knew what they were doing and my manicure actually hurt! I hope they spend time and money in clean quality tools, new polish and training.
