The facility is beyond gorgeous. It’s very modern and clean. Mia is the best nail technician I’ve ever had. She does things in her process that I’ve never seen any other technician do. THEY CARE & take the time to make sure you’re getting what you came for. I would highly recommend anyone coming here.

Whenever I want my nails done I go to Van. She is incredible. A true perfectionist. She’s interesting to talk to and makes me feel comfortable immediately. I used to LOVE Cobe. Tu & Sabrina are wonderful. Always so kind, always took their time. I’ve never left unhappy with my nails which is why I never minded paying a bit more than other places. About a month or two ago, new managers took over and that’s when everything started to change. The new owners have terrible attitudes. They’re very rude. People call to make appointments and they don’t even write the names down so when you show up for your appointment with your tech, you don’t actually have an appointment. My tech and I are friends so knowing this was happening, I personally texted my tech to make an appointment for the next day. When I showed up, I noticed she wasn’t there. The male owner knew I was there to specifically see her for a 3:30 appointment and told me it would just be a minute. I assumed my tech was on a lunch break and would be walking in any minute. I waited 15 minutes before he walked over and said “She has the day off.” I explained that I had just spoken to her to make the appointment with her the day before. He said “well she’s off today, you can wait for someone else.” I walked out and immediately text my tech to see what’s as going on. She was very apologetic that she hadn’t contacted me and then told me they had fired her and 5 other girls that morning. The owner KNEW she wasn’t there and still let me sit there and wait for her. I’m very friendly with my techs. I know their families and kids names and they’re hardworking, kind people. But these new managers treat their employees awful and after hearing the things the techs have told me, I’m glad they were fired so they can move on and find something better. Save your money on overpriced services and terrible management and go somewhere else.

I’ve lived in the county for 22 years. I’ve been to every salon in the city and this by FAR is the worst one. I took my child to get a full set of nails. The acrylic layer was so thin, I asked the tech to apply a second layer before polishing because they seemed too thin. She continued to do the nails, not listening to my request. I was charge $67 for the WORST set of nails ever laid. The manager argued with me in front of the whole salon. I remained patient, did not raise my voice, and paid what was owed. The service was TERRIBLE. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER SEEN IN CARTERET COUNTY. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Never been so upset with a place before it started with attitude just because I wanted a soak off and a new set put on but not only that but the guy that was doing my nails would not listen to what I wanted my nails to look like. The man was being so impatient with me then did my nails so thin. I wouldn’t even give 1 star your supposed to be open to the public for them to come to you and get what they want not have u do whatever and try and convince me that your way looks better.

This was our first time trying Cobe out. We had a 3pm appt and arrived a few mins before. They told us to wait a few mins so 2 chairs beside each other would open up. We were seated by 3:02p. Great, but then we noticed the chair my husband was in had blue water as if it was the sanitizer from the previous person. My water was clear. We got the classic Pedi, my husband got a nail trim, some type of scrub, foot exfoliation, hot towel and then lotion. I on the other hand got nail trim, no scrub, foot exfoliation, and didn’t cut out the ingrown nail. Just a hot towel and lotion. I didn’t request any polish. We paid $96 {including tip, which I shouldn’t have paid the full 20%). We were back in our vehicle at 3:17p. My tech was so fast it wasn’t relaxing at all. We’ll never go back or recommend this place.
