COASTAL TAN ROCKS!! Every time I come I have a great experience! Britney who runs the salon is amazing, and cleans the heck out of those beds. I also love the cleanliness of the place, even the bathroom is nice and clean I love tanning here, so glad I live close! They have great deals on single visits too. Highly recommend!!

I have used this salon for many years even though it is nowhere near my home. I have always felt it was the better than all the others in the area. Today not so much. The sign posted on the front door instructs the customer to wear a mask to enter but not one employee had a mask on. This is not a covid safe environment when a company mandates the customer wear a mask but doesn’t require it’s employees.

Mystic tan has no dryer, which is a major NEED in spray tanning. Morning salesperson at front desk couldn’t even find where the discounted sale button was, then she put me in a room that wasn’t turned on. I had to get dressed again and open door to tell her. She tried blaming me for switching from level 2 to level 3. I already told her I wanted a cocktail tan. Then, when I went to spray tan, she didn’t have that ready either. I had to get dressed for the 2nd time and come out and get her. I never had to push the green button before. She was snotty and rude and always on her cell phone. Every person besides her, has been great. If L.A tan wasn’t so expensive, I would go to them. Beds are just okay.. I have had better

The staff here is awesome. They are very friendly and seem knowledgeable about the tanning process. I gave them 4 stars only because it is very small, maybe 6 tanning beds total, (correction: I was unaware of the other beds located further back, as I do not normally use that type of bed.),with very little difference in them, as well as, they run daily specials, that are great deals, but, the place is so packed that you have to wait 45 mins to an hour to tan. They do not take appts, so you just have to wait. Small selection of tanning lotions. It it’s a very clean salon, but VERY little privacy as the makeshift walls are very thin. ☆☆☆@Coastal Tan owner: ☆☆☆ I wanted to apologize to you if my review came off as negative. That is not how I intended it to sound. Your tanning salon was the only one anywhere near me (I recently moved to this area) that I tried and actually liked. Most had unknowledgeable staff who ignored you when someone came in. Your staff is fantastic. Your salon is VERY clean! I didn’t mean it to sound as if they were “pretend” walls. I just felt like everyone could hear every sound I made and I could hear everyone waiting to tan, conversation. I go to tan to relax, not listen to everyone converse. My apologies for not making myself knowledgable about the other tanning beds available. I’ve been using a higher end bed for a long time, so that’s what I went with at your salon. If I had not bought my own bed to tan in my home, your salon would have been my DEFINITE pick to go to regularly. I highly recommend your tanning salon to anyone looking for a friendly, clean nice place to tan. Again, my apologies if this review came off as negative. Folks reading this…. This is a great salon. Give it a try, you will love it.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to tan. The beds are new and staff is wonderful. And it’s a great value,too. It’s so nice I was expecting really high prices,but I was pleasantly wrong. Thank you folks for coming to Kettering.

I have been off and on tanning for 18 years. I am from AZ. I have to say this is the best place to tan in the Kettering, Dayton, Centerville and Beavercreek. It is well maintained, high quality equipment and wonderful staff. I highly recommend Coastal Tan!!!! In comparing to the chain tanning places around, this place is VERY CLEAN!!!!! I will be back quite often.

Here’s my experience. Doing an acquaintance a favor and bringing her to get a few sessions, I always sat in the parlor and kept conversation with someone named Brittany. I must have taken her maybe 3 or 4 times, each visit either sitting, talking or asking questions about various things pertaining to tanning, I’ve never had one. Then one evening I get a text saying that I’m being accused of stealing some lotion. This is a very unfortunate situation. If they want to accuse someone of stealing their suntan lotion, they should be certain that the person stole it for a reason. I definitely don’t need it. I am beautifully caramel brown ALL OVER. I was BORN that way. That is very distasteful and definitely without character !!
