Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’ve been a client for several years and have been very happy with the services I’ve received, always a good haircut and friendly staff.When Covid hit I stopped coming in until I was comfortable going back out in public. When I returned to Club Men they had a new barber, a young man named Danny.Danny was very friendly, he grew up in Brooklyn so he has that great New York personality! I came in to get a cut and a hot shave but I was a little leery at first, because it’s always hard to find someone who knows how to give a good straight razor hot shave. I spent many more hours and days at the horse track than I probably should have but one of the nice things about it was the old-school barbershop they had. No matter how your days went at the track you could always count on a great hot shave and a haircut from the old Cuban barber who had worked there for over 30 years so as you can imagine, trying to compare his hot shave to modern barbers was never a fair match up.Given my experiences in the past I wasn’t expecting anything that could compare to the hot shave and cut I’d get from the old Cuban barber. I wasn’t expecting more than just an okay shave but WOW was I wrong! The towels were the perfect temperature and prepared my skin perfectly for the straight razor shave and didn’t irritate my skin at all, no little bumps or razor cuts just a smooth shave, leaving my face as smooth as a babies bottom!The haircut was perfect and best of all I didn’t have to sit in the chair and wait forever for him to get the cut done, he knew exactly what to do and got me in and out in no time. I’ve been a loyalty customer since then. I won’t get my cut and shave done anywhere else. I bring both of my teenage boys to Danny too, he gets their cuts perfect and they love it!I always recommend Danny to my friends and so do my boys, he is fantastic, just like the rest of the people at Club men! If you’ve never had a hot shave you’ve gotta give it a try, you’ll love it!
