Stopped by to get a haircut, I used to get my haircut there for me and my son. Walked into an empty shop and was told they do not take walk-ins appointments only. Their Facebook page simply says walk-ins only so I go out and sit in my car for 10 minutes to notice that nobody even walks in the front door of the shop Scissor cut

Clips was run by a couple of Pleasant ladies the day that I visited. I was asked what number of guard that I get my hair cut with. So I ended up with a buzz cut with some shaping around the edges. It was not what I expected and I was a bit disappointed when compared to a barbershop that shapes up the sides and shaves the neck and sideburns.

First haircut since right before shut down. Ms. Tara did a fantastic job getting me ready for a long wait. She worked a miracle on the mop I showed up with! (when you get my age, you need all the help you can get) Highly recommend you give them a try. — She can also trim up your beard and moustache.

Me and my son went to Clips on Friday 7-3-20 and there was a young lady cutting hair with 2 other people waiting. No one had masks on except barber had one around her neck. My son and I had ours on. After waiting about 25 minutes a couple came in. One wearing a mask and the other not. Barber then asked if everybody had appointments. We did not. So instead of telling us the policy when we first arrived she waited 25 minutes to tell us we would have to keep being moved to the back of the line. The wait time could have been very lengthy. We decided to leave. Barber blamed Covid19 which is fine but why make us wait and if there was so much concern about Covid19 why didn’t barber and other customers have a mask on. We have been going to Clips for a couple years. Will be finding new barber.

Critical: PunctualityWhen I found this shop last year I was very happy. I’m retired military and like a place where I can pop in and out without spending two hours in the chair like the other place in town. The one on main St, and they have a problem with opening late. In 2020 it changed. Three times before the lockdown I would get there shortly after 9am. Every single time it was still closed. I would wait 15-20 minutes and finally have to leave. I would end up having to come back another day and I would go during lunchtime after my experience with late opening.One thing to note is when it would finally open, it was a different girl there than I had seen last year. Last year it was always the owner I saw (forgot her name). She was good. And she actually knew what a high taper is. Haven’t seen her since last October.This weekend I saw they were back open for business and was glad because I’ve gone so long without a cut. Supposed to open at 9am. I got there yesterday, Tuesday, at 9:55. CLOSED. I got in my car, said never again and drove to a veteran owned place in Raeford and will never come back.
