I’ve honestly never had to shop for a hair stylist before as both my sisters did hair! After they passed away, I was blessed to have my cousin by marriage who does hair! Now that my girls are 14 & 15 years old… it was time to find a salon that A. I could afford and B. I could trust to listen to my girls ideas and set em straight when need be- such as my 14 year old wanting to go all platinum AFTER she let her little friend dye her hair whatever color she did that straight up made it orange and CUT HER BANGS creating a “strung out orange Dora The Explorer Doll” look,smh!

Absolutely love The Classic Touch. Jennifer is amazing and works miracles on my hair every time I come in. I wouldn’t and absolutely couldn’t trust anyone else with my crazy long, extremely thick, naturally curly red hair and haven’t went anywhere else for 5+ years. BIG HUGE THANKS to Jennifer for always taking great care of my hair, for always having a big smile on your face and for all the great conversations during. Jennifer was super friendly and I really like the color I got. I was a bit concerned several times when she asked the same questions multiple times over the course of the two hours I was there (where I work, if I’m married, how many kids I have) and asked me questions about people I don’t know. I’m not sure if this is standard for her or if she was just having an off day. Like I said, super friendly and I like my hair but it was a little uncomfortable for me being the only one in the shop as she rambled about things I didn’t understand and people I don’t know. Like I said, not sure if this is standard for her or if she had something going on today but it was disconcerting for sure.

I NEVER leave bad reviews so this is saying a lot. Went to get my eyebrows waxed for a wedding and Jennifer got me right in. BUT worst waxing I’ve ever experienced… I told her I wanted to keep my natural shape and she waxed my arches completely off after saying “okay I just see a few stray hairs”. She waxed so much off the bottom of my brows they were half their original size. She handed me the mirror (when my heart sank) to look at them before I got out of the chair and I saw tons of long hairs separate-but-near the tail of my eyebrow. I told her I wanted those tweezed and she jokingly said “I’ll have to go get my glasses because I can’t see them”. I’m 99% sure she waxed my eyebrows blind…….. At least if she waxed them all the way off I could draw them on evenly but now they look horribly awkward, uneven and jaggedly tweezed. I bawled when I got to my car. She didn’t take card so I gave her $20 for the $14 waxing, but she doesn’t keep a cash drawer so all she rummaged up was 4 quarters from her purse. At that point it should have been free for her not having any change, not an automatic $5 tip for her. Long story short, I paid $19 for a $14 waxing I will spend a year regrowing hair to fix. Any women knows it takes FOREVER to perfect eyebrow arches. I bawled when I got to my car. Would not recommend.
