Went here for the first time a month ago. Absolutely horrific. My sister and I had scheduled our appointment for two uv gel manicures with extensions. She filed my nails so thin it was sensitive to the touch, when she put my nail in the lamp it felt like fireee (I’ve had uv nails before and they’ve burned but not like that).I told her I couldn’t continue and had to do dip. Same thing happened with my sister she almost passed out from the pain. We do the dip powder and one of my nails was pointing downward from being put on incorrectly. They looked so horrible I had to file them short the second picture is 3 days after. I was also cut 3 times and they didn’t clean it. My thumb nail had lint in it and wasn’t smooth( hard to tell in picture).Not to mention it was 60$ and took over 2 hours. Very shocked by this service never had such terrible nails before.

Critical: ProfessionalismDon’t go here unless you have a whole afternoon to spend there. I went to have gel manicure, I had powder and said I wanted gel this time. They started to soak off the powder with remover and foil. Got my fingers wrapped, patted me on the hand and said it would take a few minutes. Mind you I was one of 2 people in the salon when I went in. As I was sitting waiting for my powder nails to dissolve 3 other came in, one for a pedi another for a mani. The girl doing my nails got up from me and went and started on another girl. I waited 35 MINUTES sitting with foil on my fingers and she was still working on the other girl. I took the foil off my fingers and got my things and started to leave. They proceeded to say, oh she is finished now, I said that it didn’t matter because they leave one paying customer and expect them to sit around while they go to another. They kept saying”she is finished and she can finish me now. I said no thanks I will just go someplace else. They followed me all the way to the car saying I finish you now.Worst service EVER!Horizon Nails or Oh My Nails are the best in the area. Don’t go here unless you have a whole afternoon to spend there. I went to have gel manicure, I had powder and said I wanted gel this time. They started to soak off the powder with remover and foil. Got my fingers wrapped, patted me on the hand and said it would take a few minutes. Mind you I was one of 2 people in the salon when I went in. Had a negative experience here years ago and intended to never return…at the urging of my sister, I recently gave them another try (my sister is a regular and wanted to go there before an event we were attending to use her gift certificates) The prices were in line with comparable salons/services in the area but the SKILL definitely was NOT!! I got a mediocre regular pedicure…the massage that was supposed to be a part of it was essentially non existent. Afterward, I had a gel manicure…the nail tech was rushing through it, no hand/arm massage, threw a hot towel over my hands for about 2-3 seconds and then tossed it to the floor next to his station, he did not apply the top coat to all my nails which I noticed later since all but two nails had the nice shine you expect with the higher priced gel manicures. My nails on my fingers AND toes CHIPPED THE SAME DAY OF APPLICATION!! I have NEVER had this happen with gel manicures and certainly never was an issue with my toes. WILL NOT RETURN!! ***SANITARY CONCERNS: I observed my nail tech placing my USED utensils/files/cuticle cutter in an open sterilization bag and putting it back in a drawer–he NEVER STERILIZED THEM WITH BARBICIDE OR RAN THROUGH THE AUTOCLAVE/UV sterilizer!!!!!!!! The only positive I initially was pleased with before my services was that they use plastic barriers for all the foot spas to reduce infections and the staff all were pleasant and friendly. Overall the service was very poor. Side note, it was a very hot and humid day and they had NO AC it was stifling hot in there with no fans, nothing for air flow besides an open front door. When customers began questioning it and complaining of the heat they said the ac broke but my sister said every time she’s ever gone there in the warmer months they have never had ac on. I felt it was much worse when I was getting my gel manicure due to the heat produced by the UV lights used.
