Classic Nail Spa

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueDO NOT GET YOUR ACRYLIC NAILS DONE HERE!! I went in on a Monday afternoon to get my a Full Acrylic Set after making an appointment online. My appointment was at 2:15 PM and I arrived more than 5 minutes beforehand. When I walked in I was not seated until after someone who walked in after me was seated first. No one started on my nails until 2:30. As she started and I showed her my design, which was just two small hearts on a couple of nails, she alerted me to the fact that the person who did the designs was not going to be here until 3:15. I agreed to being okay with that thinking this lady would only have to walk in and put on the hearts and I could leave. Instead, the lady who had started my nails only put the acrylic on, she didn’t even clean it up. She moved on to someone else and I sat until 3:20 waiting for this other lady to walk in. When that lady did finally arrive, she never addressed me. Someone who was already in the store since my arrival and working on someone who came after me came over and filled down my nails, painted, and did the design. I don’t understand why this women didn’t do my nails to begin with if she was capable of that or why I was lied to about who would do my nails. If I take the time to make an appointment and explicitly state what I want, why isn’t someone there who can perform the service I ask for? The design was fine, but overall the nail was kind of sloppy. Lastly, when it was finally time to leave no one was really attentive of me, I understand if you have to start on someone else while my nails are drying but vou should also finish your previous client. They attempted to charge me $50 but when I complained about the two hours spent in the store she gave me the student discount, even though Im already a student but I was so fed up at that point I just left.After spending 2 hours in the nail salon, one of my nails fell off two days later after no strenuous activity. The entire thing fell of not just the tip. Critical: ProfessionalismI’ll give this place two stars because my nails aren’t that bad But it’s just not what I asked for. First of all this nail salon is very white oriented, when I walked in yesterday to get my nails done I was the only black person there. I got the ugliest stairs and looks soon as I walked in. I knew nothing about this place, I literally googled nail salon near me and this place was 1 mile away. when I walked in I knew I had mad a mistake going there. Even the workers looked at me in surprise, when the owner told me to sit down in her chair she immediately started talking In her language to her friend beside her. They ignored me and talked to everyone around me. I then told the owner who was doing my nails what I wanted. She disregarded that and told me to try something else ( which was more expensive) and I didn’t disagree with her because I wasn’t trying to be another black women making a scene. She didn’t give me what I asked for, my nails are clumpy. I should have walked out which is what I started to do. I also should have told her no to the service she offered and got the one I originally wanted but I wasn’t trying to make a scene.
