I came in from out of town and needed a haircut and beard trim for a family event. I was able to call and set an appointment. And they were RIGHT ON TIME. Which never happens, anywhere, ever, when I need a haircut. Bill took care of me and gave me exactly the cut I was looking for without having to ask more than a few questions which speaks to his professionalism. Not only was the cut perfect, it was fast. From sitting down to leaving, it was maybe about half an hour which was huge because I needed to keep to a pretty tight schedule over the weekend. I highly recommend getting your hair and beard cared for here, the guys are personable, professional, and talented.

We drive 30 minutes and pass probably dozens of barbershops to get to Classic. It’s got that good energy you get inside a “classic” barbershop. There’s always a nice banter, usually about sports (no politics thankfully), and even the other customers are friendly. I used to go here when it was Jim’s. Just came in for the first time since it’s been classic barbershop. Sat there for 20 minutes without being greeted just to be told that they now do appointments and might be able to fit me in but weren’t sure. Disappointed to see the walk in welcome sign is still hanging, but after waiting 20 minutes was informed this was not the case. I’ve had great haircuts from both Ryan and sharky, so I was willing to give it a shot. Hopefully in the future new customers can be greeted and told right away about the new booking policy.***edit to response. Yes this is true but after 20 minutes of my time without being told while everyone else that walked in was greeted. It felt very disrespectful when the next three people after me are immediately greeted and I had been there 20 minutes without a word being said to me. Then was told I might be able to get fit in after the 40 minute wait. I was not told this was a guarantee.

This place *was* great. No appointment needed just walk in, wait, and get a quality haircut. They transitioned to throwing your number on a sheet and getting a call or text when your spot was ready. Perfect. I walk in today and was informed that they’ve moved to appointments only. Haircuts for me at least are spontaneous and I don’t plan weeks ahead to get one nor do I want to worry about scheduling one. I was unhelpfully Informed that it had been months since the change. Quite obviously I hadn’t been there since the change. Today will be my last visit.

I’ve been to just about every walk-in place for my boys in and around Medina/Fairlawn area. Quality and price can’t be beat! Bill and TJ were fantastic! So happy to have found them. And the scheduling ahead is such an added bonus!
