I brought my friends son in for a cut this past week. This place came highly recommended from a few people. It was a little bit of a drive for me, but I could also use it as an excuse to stop at the outlets so I figured why not! I absolutely loved the vibe of the shop and it was really clean. The owner Donny (who did the cut) has two of the sweetest pups! The cut was perfect. He really took the time to make sure that our expectations were met. I didn’t feel like it was something that was rushed through at all. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does- and he’s great at it. It was 100% worth the drive! 🙂

Hands down, Classic Barber Studios is the best barbershop I’ve ever stepped foot in. I was fortunate enough to sit in Donny’s chair almost a year and a half ago after going to “regular” & “average” barbershops for years. I just left the shop tonight with one of, if not the best, skin fades Donny’s ever given me. The cuts almost seem to get better every visit. Donny is highly skilled and takes his craft extremely serious, with tremendous pride and attention to detail given to every cut. The shop is very clean , comfortable and inviting and there’s always cold beer and soda stocked in the fridge. I couldn’t imagine getting my fade done anyplace else. Kittery is very fortunate to have Donny and his crew right here on Route 1 and for anyone looking for a new shop, I strongly recommend giving them a shot with an open mind. You won’t be disappointed.

Just had a fantastic experience here with my 11yo son. Donny is clearly invested in his customer experience and cares deeply about his work. I also noted that he is a kind and patient teacher to barbers in training. Two adorable dogs and a cool space were an added bonus. Will definitely be back. Haircut

This place doesn’t even deserve one star but I guess I have to leave a star anyway. I came into classic barber studios wanting a good haircut before I go off to school. I asked to trim my bangs, a fade and I showed a picture. The barber removed my glasses to cut, so I could not see what he was doing. The cut I received was not even close to the picture and explanation I gave. He blamed me because I had a cowlick which would not have been an issue if he did what I asked and trimmed it. I also consulted with a family member who is a hair stylist. She stated a good stylist can tell if a client has cowlick. Now I’m going off to school with a haircut that is ridiculous and I now have to wear a hat until my hair grows. Luckily my hair grows fast. I will not be going back. I will add of my before pic, a picture of what I wanted and a picture of what I got. My hair was very long and my bangs were below my eyes.

My son, husband, and grandson, went in for hair cuts. We also brought my two grand daughter and sons wife. I am grandma. We had a wonderful time. They were patient and kind.
