Curtis is THE BEST professional hairstylist ever!!! He does our entire families hair. Today he washed, cut, and styled our two teenage boys hair. Last week he did my husband and toddlers hair. Curtis is FANTASTIC with toddlers and children. He uses top quality hair products and is talented at his craft. Curtis def know how to cut hair! He’s proven it to me. However, he has this aura about him that is negative and it causes you to feel intimidated. I’m an attractive outgoing 50 y/o woman. I was blessed to have grown up with an attractive stylish mother who was a hairdresser. I’m confident and down to earth. But when I walk in and sit in his chair, I almost become nervous and I try to be overly nice back don’t know what his mood or response is going to be. He’s been down right rude. I don’t know if he’s been burned before or maybe he’s just an unhappy person. But he will NOT guide you through it help you make decisions with your hair! If you hem and haw, he’ll get jerky about it and say “I can’t make a decision for you. It’s your hair.”. It’s almost like if he could, he’d hand you the scissors. He acts in a very intimidating manner. I’m sure your asking why then did I give 4 starts? Because if you’re a confident person, can ask for exactly what you want, point out what you like and dislike, take his attitude with a grain of salt AND bring a picture then you’ll get what you went there for.
