I didnt even know this place existed before a few hours ago. I just had my first ever appointment today. I called and five minutes later was there getting seen. This is as genuine as a review can get. I just want to see this man get the recognition he deserves and also help other people to have the incredible experience I just did.HE DID AN AMAZING JOB!! I LEFT THAT SALON FEELING SO CONFIDENT AND LIKE A DIFFERENT PERSON! I am still riding that high. This really was life changing.His prices are super low. He should really charge more.- I gave him a hundred dollar tip because it was that great of an experience. And I dont have money like that-Help me get this man the recognition he deserves. Just go give him a chance to change your life too. You only have to see him once to know you will never want to go anywhere else. You won’t find better service, a better stylist, or a better environment.BEST SALON EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was in desperate need of a haircut and searched yelp/google reviews because I am not super familiar with the Long Beach area. As I was just looking to get a trim, I did not want to go to a super expensive place that would charge me $90 just for a cut. Lo and behold I stumbled upon Richie and CL Salon. I was skeptical at first–this isn’t your high end spa salon that spends more on décor than the quality of their stylists. Richie is a one man show and he is soooo worth it. I showed him pictures and he got to work. He asked if I wanted him to shampoo/condition my hair but told me he prefers to do dry cuts. With the texture of my hair, I couldn’t have agreed more.He does hair like he is painting a work of art. When I told him I wanted little fringy bangs, he was honest with me and told me it would look better with more side curtain bangs. I soo appreciate the honesty and expertise of a professional.Richie is the definition of hard working. Over the course of the thirty minutes (he works fast), he told me about his upbringing in Cambodia and the family he is supporting there. This man used to be a physics professor!! But he gave up his career there to make money in the US and support his family.His prices are insanely cheap (I gave him almost double what he asked because he is just that amazing). I was in desperate need of a haircut and searched yelp/google reviews because I am not super familiar with the Long Beach area. As I was just looking to get a trim, I did not want to go to a super expensive place that would charge me $90 just for a cut. Lo and behold I stumbled upon Richie and CL Salon.
