I recently moved to Milwaukee and was faced with the slightly daunting task of finding a new place to get my hair cut. After a couple Google searches and research, I decided to come here based on the positive reviews and I do not regret it. CJ is by far one of the friendliest barbers I have gone to, and on top of that, he does a fantastic job. The price was great for the time that he spent on my cut (only $20). He doesn’t accept cards, so be sure to bring cash. I’ll definitely be back!

I started seeing CJ when we was at another shop and when he left he was not able to let any of his customers know. Even back in the 90’s working for a shop he had people calling. just for him. Then I was in haircut limbo wandering around my neighborhood and low and behold CJ had opened his own shop and that was back in 1999, and I have been goin there ever since. I unfortunately I have moved out of that neighborhood aboat 13 years ago and for the most part have been living in Idaho and still CJ is the only person that cuts my hair. Whenever I came home to visit my mom CJ was always a must visit to the point instead of cheating on CJ I would just shave my head until I knew I could go see him. CJ not only gives amazing haircuts but is the most genuine person you may ever meet. He always books me in an extra 15 minutes not cuz my hair needs a lot of attention but because he knows we are gonna be chopping it aboat Life, Love and the pursuit of Happiness. CJ gives great haircuts. I’ve been going since I returned to Milwaukee, found out about him because my Dad went to him for years. Before my Dad, my nephew, so 3 generations of us. Also, CJ is very personable. Always an enjoyable conversation.

I stumbled upon CJ after about a year of walking past his shop multiple times a day. Finally bit the bullet and called to schedule my first appointment about a year ago. Never looked back. I really enjoy his down to earth neighbor vibe. We bond over the east side, about life, and much more. He schedules via text and is very responsive. Also love the fist bump on the way out! Great guy and Barber!
