Its been 12 + years since i was a regular at this barber shop back the bill had a policy of if u booked a regular haircut once a month he would pencile u in at the 2 week point for a free clean up service he provided, my wife was jealous about my hair looking sooo good all the time!!! I miss living in eureka for this barber shop more than any other reason to live there. Thanks for all the great conversations and awesome hair cuts, you are the standard that i judge all other barbers by since and for the future to come thats a million bill

Excellent barber shop, so far the best I have found in Humboldt. Average industry price of about $30 for a fade, a top cut, and a straight razor clean up. The interior of the shop has a classic hardwood and leather feel with retro barber chairs. Bill gave me a great cut and I’ll definitely be heading back soon. P.S. this place is appointment only, perhaps some people are not familiar with this, but it is standard practice in most busy barber shops.

It was my first time going in for a professional trim job. He did a great job, he was friendly and fast, and he even threw in a free hair trim for free. I love the new style and so does my lady. Highy recommend this shop.

I wanted to like this place, I was hoping to find a regular barber and hoped this would be the spot. The proprietor listened to my detailed request (based on my prior barber’s input) and then proceeded to give me a Marine Corps bootcamp shave job. He also cut me in three separate places with the straight razor while shaving my neck. He spent the entire haircut complaining that the prior customer’s hair was difficult to manage. The service was also not cheap, it was over $30 for the cut alone, no wash or other services. Suffice to say, I will not be back.

Great shop at City Barber . Its a one man show, so you might get an answering machine. However the owner will promptly reach back out.The shop is by appointment only, if you lack the social skills to wait for a call back, the website lets you schedule online.
