After a horrific experience at Goodfellas in Ansonia from racial slurs to making fun of our appearance in Spanish, we were kicked for complaining about the heat. City Stylez stepped in and completed the cut and took us almost immediately. They were super friendly, professional, courteous and I would absolutely do business there again. Also ..the temp was perfect. Not too or cold. Thank you City Stylez!!!

Great barber shop, great haircuts, great environment. I have been going there for awhile now and have always had a great experience. Everyone there is always welcoming and very knowledgeable. I have personally always had an appointment with either Billy or Hector and have always gotten a great haircut. Everytime I walk in with friends or family E, Hector, and Billy always greet us. I have always received great customer service. All around it is an amazing barber shop and I would recommend anyone to go there weather you are walking in or have an appointment. Great shop and great prices.

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year now and this is by far the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. I have a really jacked up hair line normally and this is the only place that knows how to cut my hair and make it look like I actually have a hairline. I highly suggest coming here. You’ll be well taken care of then right at home.

Went with my son to get a hair cut on a Saturday. Walked in, empty shop, barber watching Netflix. Claims he had appointments and to come back later? Next week, tried again. This time barbers were busy cutting hair. Sat patiently to be called next. Instead the entire time they had people, who I assume were their friends, just walk in and get a haircut before me. This happened at least 2 or 3 times while I was waiting over an hour and forty minutes. Ended up leaving in disgust. If you don’t take walk ins, fine. Put a sign on the door or something. But don’t let a customer sit there without even an acknowledgement or estimate as to when you could reasonably expect to get a hair cut. Ended up taking my business elsewhere. Sad.
