It’s an experience few would find exceptional; unless you treasure a scorching hot sauna and clean cold plunge to heal your sore muscles and joints, or to get your endorphins pumping. It’s not fancy. It’s only co- ed a few days a week, but it’s nostalgic. They did raise the price, and hopefully they’ll bring it back down to earth. No place like it anywhere in the the world. Ok… maybe not the world but definitely the best in the United States as far as heat is concerned. 1st time here was 45 years ago at 14 years old. It’s not your fluffy Beverly Hills spa. It’s a Russian Banya. A whole different experience. Treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Hot Sauna, Hot Steam Room, Hot Beef Borscht. What else can you want? It’s like an old “mansion spa” in the middle of the city. In the evening, from the City to the Valley, I hang out there for a few hours to avoid the insane freeway traffic or until the traffic dies down, then I go home looking good, feeling good, smelling good…very clean! If you come in early, there is a very nice sun deck on the roof patio to get a great tan!

I have checked them out near and far. You will never find another sauna like this in the US. High heat and low heat for dry sauna. Cool pool and Cold pool. Steam room and Jacuzzi . Restaurant slings out the Best food and juices. Upstairs sunnin hangout section. Not to mention the staff have seen it all and are very welcoming. Recommend

Hottest sauna in LA coupled with an ice cold plunge pool for the best contrast exposure therapy in town! Their fresh-squeezed juices are the perfect refresher after a session. Not the kind of place that has an excessive number of zen waterfalls in the lobby- If you’re serious about sports performance and exercise recovery, this is the spot.

Best place for a real Russian, Finish kind of Sauna with a proper cold dip. They also have a gym, massages upstairs and a delicious kitchen making traditional food!

Nice relaxing atmosphere. They have good Russian food cafeteria, dry sauna, wet sauna, Russian type sauna, pool. Facilities are outdated though.
