I got on Lena’s books for October all the way back in May. She cancelled our appointment the night before as she had hurt her back, no big deal. Rescheduled for two days before Christmas. It was the evening before our appointment and she had still not sent me a picture of what she had drawn up. I had given her full creative freedom to create something to cover up two tattoos on my shoulders and was told she’d send something a day or two before the appointment. I sent her an email the evening before our appointment checking in and she replied back letting me know she could no longer cover these tattoos up as she was drawing a blank. Let me be clear, this would have been fine.. if it wasn’t less than 24 hours before an appointment that had already been rescheduled once. I then waited 5 days for her to refund my deposit. Super disappointing and incredibly unprofessional.

After not having had a tattoo in over 5 years, I was pretty nervous going into the experience with a bigger piece planned than I had ever gotten before. Lena was amazing and totally worth the wait! She designed a piece that was exactly what I was looking for and was super easy to work with. The shop is really nice and she was very easy to chat with throughout the few hours I was there being tattooed. I will definitely be returning for my next one and will recommend Lena to all my friends looking to get a tattoo done! Good vibes and amazing talent!

I have had several tattoos done here by Tom. His work is just simply exceptional. He’s very professional and very kind and I feel like I’m at home going and getting my tattoo. Highly recommend. The only correspondence me and my artist Nicole Hill had was through Instagram. The day before my appt. I messaged my artist asking to see the sketch. It was read but never replied to. I sent another message saying see you shortly, no reply. Then I arrive, start filling out my paper work and she brought over the sketch to my dismay it was the wrong tattoo. I drove over an hour for no reason not to mention canceled a romantic V-Day getaway. Only thing I was offered was a reschedule that was 2 weeks away smh. Not a discount, nothing just another 2 week wait and the possibility of wasting more gas to drive back to Milford. I asked if she could do it the next day or if I could have a refund. She opted for the refund of course because God forbid you tattoo at a time you don’t normally tattoo to right a wrong. I will admit she was very apologetic but accommodating NOT AT ALL.

Critical: ProfessionalismThis past Sunday I had a tattoo appointment booked with Lena Lawrence and Saturday evening I received an email that she messed up the time and wanted me to come in three hours earlier. Due to plans I already had I politely declined as that was not a time I could make. After that, I didn’t hear from her all evening until the next morning when she cancelled entirely. She tried to re book with me and only gave me a 2-3 week time span to do so and I couldn’t make it work between work, the fact I live an hour away and other obligations. I politely told her I didn’t wish to re book as I didn’t feel she was being very accommodating and asked about getting my deposit back since she was the one who cancelled. She advised me her boss would have to make that call and that the deposit went towards the drawing she did and eventually she just stopped responding to me when I advised her to check with her boss.After this exchange I was very upset and emailed the owner of the shop and he didn’t respond to me at all to address or fix this. I will never recommend or go to this shop. I also was on Lena’s Instagram page and the drawing she claimed she was charging me for had already been tattooed on another client over a week prior to our appointment. The whole thing just seemed like the artist just found a drawing she could try to push off on me and it felt like no one cared about my time or business.
