I have found my new nail salon. This is hands down the best nail salon I’ve ever been to and let me tell you why. When I first walked in, it was on a Friday afternoon and they were packed. I was greeted by Andy the owner with a smile and the best English spoken nail salon around the lake, and I’ve tried them all. That was the first plus for me. I saw how they treated all their customers and walk ins so kind and you could tell it was genuine. Andy had me laughing the whole time I was there and was so quick witted, which I love. He did my nails and they were perfect. I didn’t get his wife’s name, but she did my nail art and it turned out wonderful. She also is so friendly along with her mother that works there. I tried the gel nail polish on my pedicure and love how it turned out..The pedicure was also amazing. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is! Try them out, you will love them and their work!

I’ve been using City Nails in GBC for app one year. My person is IVY! Not only is her work and talent always perfection, she is a joy to visit with. The owners themselves are amazing. They also are detail oriented and very publicly and civic minded. I will always do business with those that care for their clients AND put themselves out in the community to do well by others. I knew this place because I had been once before a few years ago. Recently moved back and I’m leaving for vacation in a few hours actually so I begged for a last minute pedicure appointment. They obliged. Once there I bought a middle of the line pedicure but you would’ve thought I’d paid for the most expensive one with as much time as she spent on my feet. And trust me they needed it. My feet that is. Lol. I was telling her all about my vacation and how I was so grateful that I was able to get in at the last minute and that if I had thought sooner and had more time I would’ve got my nails done but they were minutes away from closing. She asked me if I wanted to get my nails done because they didn’t mind staying and would take care of it for me and I said absolutely not I wouldn’t want you to stay. Her partner and the co-owner said we want you to have an amazing vacation and enjoy yourself so we don’t mind staying and doing your nails for you. I don’t know if anyone reading this has been there but it’s so much fun to watch the two of them together and it’s almost like getting your pedicure and manicure and a comedy show. The fact that they went above and beyond to make sure that I was fully satisfied is a level of customer service that you just don’t find anymore. They have definitely earned a customer for life. I visited City Nails last Saturday and had both my nails and toes done. I had a dip to my nails and pedicure/ polish on my toes. I wanted to see how well my nails lasted before I posted and I must say I am very impressed!!! I chose a light color to see if my nails would fade or discolor. None of my nails have lifted or chipped and the color looks just as good as the day they were done. The owner did my dip and he made sure my nails were done to my exact request. They are very thin and shaped beautifully!!! My pedicure and massage was very relaxing and my heels are still smooth and my polish still looks amazing. I am very please with the service I received and look forward to returning.

Really hate to leave less than a 5 star review because I like their work. However today they had some issues with the dip powder again and the girl did her best to fix it then we went to do my toes it wasn’t soaked off like it should have been but I was OK and decided to treat myself to designs a hot stone massage and paraphin I asked multiple times if they had enough time to they assured me they did…but they got into a loud big argument mid way thru my massage totally ruined it (later told because she was taking too long) even though I requested the 10 minute massage everything was cut short parafin on and off in a flash got my brows tinted dark brown looks black but i can handle that but then surprised with wax I didn’t know was required I cried over it all …the shock ect, was left shaky and sad. Definitely not how I thought it would go. Blew 100$ I regret getting anything extra and feel so bad for the girl who was working on me because I asked for the extras not knowing the drama it would cause. Came in needing tlc it’s been a really really rough week. Super sad at how it went. I didn’t get any apology. Now leaving this review I’m worried I won’t even be welcome back. Really make me so sad. I liked this place
