The sign up front read “walk inns welcome” I went in and there was one customer and one employee. Then a few regulars showed up and I was not welcome anymore. I was informed I had to wait because I didn’t have an appointment. My pedicure was decent. But my face was burnt when the owner waxed off my upper lip. I left without getting my full set of nails.

I’m not the type of person to knock on a business. But this was worst & expensive place I’ve been too. Went with my daughter to get a pedi & a gel mani. My pedicure was not the typical pedicure. She rushed through it & even skipped a few things (she didn’t scrub my legs, she burned my leg with the extremely hot water amd didn’t massage my legs). The painting of my nails was as if this was the first time she’s done it. Didn’t even put the toe separater so my pinky stuck to my other toe. The paint job was horrible. My daughter asked for gel manicure, lets talk about she was talk down to about the difference between gel manicure and a full set. Then she was charged for the little pieces of paint she had on her nails (mind you the lady picked at it to where she hurt my daughter. When my daughter let her know, the lady got annoyed & then started to rush), didn’t let the paint dry long enough to where it made ripples in the nail paint (which she put the wrong color & when my daughter told her that wasn’t the color, she said that’s what she was gonna put – in other words that’s what your getting wether you like it or not). She files the nail after having had painted it & left it like that. Now lets talk about the bill. She was charged $20 for the removal of the previous piant plus the charge for the new gel. Plus $15 for a manicure & $8 for the 2 tiny hearts design that she couldn’t do. For that she would’ve gotten a full set. This was by far the worst place I’ve been too and will be the last. If you haven’t been here, Don’t bother.

Positive: Cleanliness, QualityI relocated to the area from Ohio approximately a year and a half ago. I have tried a few places in Haines City and then I stumbled upon City Nails. They do a good job. They cater to all ethnic backgrounds. I see all colors of the rainbow in this establishment and all seem to be pleased. The place is trash and clean. I love the safety protocols they use. I have taken four family members with me there. We all agree that Jennie’s husband it okay but I don’t necessarily recommend him. Jennie is very good at what she does. Although, the diamond that you want to get to do your pedicure is Tao. She is excellent and very courteous. She doesn’t speak English very well but she uses her cellphone to communicate with you to ensure that she is doing the job to your satisfaction. I will NOT go anywhere else.
