The atmosphere was pleasant and people were fine, but I went in to get a regular gel manicure ($30) but less than 10 hours later, two of the nails were chipped. I went back and got them redone the next day but by the time I got home from getting those two fixed, I looked down at my nails and third one was chipped. I’m not doing any crazy work that requires my nails to get beaten up and I have had gel nails done many times. Maybe he did not seal the edge and it keeps chipping? Either way, I can’t keep going back for every chipped nail. Very disappointing as it’s rare that I get time to leave my toddlers alone long enough to get any self care done and it’s not cheap either. It’s why I get gel, so I don’t have to worry about getting them done every week. Disappointing.

This salon was voted top 3 in the Capital Region. Very affordable prices and busy atmosphere. It’s tucked around the corner from Hannaford, I almost missed it. I got a manicure and pedicure (felt amazing). Staff were friendly and good listeners. Definitely will go back again.

I walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday night to get my nails done before I traveled for a wedding and was able to get a pedicure and ANC manicure with tips without a wait. The nail salon I usually go to was closed and I just happened across city nail and I’m so glad! Wonderful pedicure, I’m very ticklish and didn’t have any issues, the woman who helped me, I think her name was Emily, did a wonderful job on my nails and leg massage. Tina did my ANC with tips and it’s one of the most well defined shapes I’ve ever gotten getting tips. I will definitely be going back

I have been going here for at least 6 years or more.. love the ANC and the same girl I go to regularly.. today I went and got toe polish change.. prices went from $11 to $13… ok I get it everything everywhere there is a price increase but she gives me the total for the ANC and the the polish change and she says oh no the polish change is $15 because you got special polish.. I’m like no one told me that .. she picked out the color to match my nails.. you would have thought she told me that to begin with.. there was nothing special about it.. it was on the rack with all the rest.. there was no sign, notice of some polish being more.. just saying.. I don’t want to cry over $2 but $15 to Change toe polish??? Eh…never see the owner there anymore either.. just a tad disappointed.. no more pedicure or polish change for me.. not good customer service in my opinion.. oh well tons of other nail salons
