I’ve been going to City Nail Bar for over three years and have been so happy with the service. Booking appointments is easy to do online. I’ve had manicures with several nail techs and all of them do a bang up job. Hunter is my go-to fave who has added flare and inspiration into my previously boring nails. I also love that this salon offers both natural nail enhancement and Apres Gel Extensions. Both have been so much better for my nails than acrylic and typically last me 3 weeks no problem. Truly, I have had the best manicures in my life here. Make an appointment in advance, because the city of Indianapolis keeps this gem packed! 🙂

These are my nails 10 days after getting a full gel x set and on my right hand I got my index, middle & ring finger fixed. The owner is the sweetest lady ever and did not charge me for my nails to get fixed because they were lifting 2 days after I got them done. But the nail tech that did my nails should not b allowed to do gel x for full price and these are the results! I don’t remember my techs name but she was a middle aged Caucasian woman with dark hair and natural nails. I’m going this week to check out another tech. I wish hunter and Emily had more availability! When booking, book one of the techs that names are on the booking site for gel x!!!! I called for my first appointment and did not get one of the names on the gel x booking tab. I’ll update this review with my new nails that I’ll b getting.

I’m so disappointed with city nail bar. I got a gel manicure there 3 days ago and my nails have already started chipping and on one nail the polish has already come off completely. Very upsetting considering my manicure was $57 tip included. I won’t be returning since the manicure didn’t hold up past 3 days! Manicure

Called this salon two days before my wedding (after my appointment at a different salon I’d booked months before fell through when they said at the appointment that they could not do the basic nail art I requested and didn’t have any gold glitter gel…). City Nail Bar was able to squeeze me in the next morning and did an AMAZING job on my gel nail glitter ombre nail art. They were very kind and professional through the whole experience. Not to mention, my gel manicure lasted almost 3 weeks without ANY chipping. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent the staff was nice . The nail tech did a great job. But my only concern is that I don’t think they are as sterile as they should be. I noticed that they use the same nail file,buffer, and drill bits fr every customer and I was surely disappointed that is a huge health risk. Although they did a great job. I won’t be coming back due to unsanitary utensils being used in multiple people.

I have been once myself (under begging from my girlfriend hahaaha) and my girlfriend goes 2x a month. She is always very pleased with the attention to detail and the end result. The owner is great, friendly and takes good care of the customers. Its a great local business which we love to frequent (and I hear a second location is coming soon!).

To say I was disappointed is an understatement the only reason it gets 2 stars is because the toes were done well. I don’t know if the lady was nervous or new but the nails were laughable. Some were so crooked and I can’t believe she continued like she didn’t see it. For as much as they charge i expected impressive work and was solely mistaken. I had to go to work and didn’t have time to sit and wait for her to fix what she ignored. I wouldn’t recommend and I haven’t been back since. The nail techs name is Mikayla and while the place was clean and people were friendly, the employee needs more practice especially for $130.
