The barber did a terrible job on my son’s hair today. Cut way more off than he asked for and on top of that, it’s all uneven. Got too close with the clippers on one side. Absolutely horrible job.

My hair is kind of difficult to cut, the barbers here are excellent and willing to please their clients. I’m new to the area and used to drive over 25 miles to my previous shop because I have tried several other barbers in the area who messed my hair up. City Cuts got me together the very first time. I do not agree with the previous costumer calling the place racist. I’ve seen quite of few European American clients in this shop and all seemed very satisfied with their level service.

My cut is always on point and I’m cool wit all the barbers but they have poor customer service when I call to make sure my barber is there usually they won’t answer the phone or it says it’s disconnected so they need to update their google info but my barber acts as if me calling to see if he’s working is a problem …. I’m calling because a few times he wasn’t there. And he doesn’t do appointments, I wanna lock a spot in but not trying to be in there waiting 3+ hours every time. That’s were the phone come in handy at, that way u can say I got 5 ppl ahead of you come up here in about 2hrs…..makes since right?

There possibly racist, I’m white an I was there for two hrs, they told me 5 different times I’m next but they took every other customer that walked in. If it was a white barber shop and this happened to a black person it would be all over the news n they probably would be trying to sue the owner for being racist. Place is nasty anyways piles of hair everywhere, not to mention I felt like I was gonna get robbed.

I have been attending City Cuts for over a year and I love it! I have attended several barbershops in the Clinton Township/Mount Clemens area and knew I was home when stepping into City Cuts. I bring my grandbaby to the shop and there is no use of profanity and horseplaying. The barbers are respectful to the customers and each other. They assist each other and will contact your barber if he is not in. City Cuts welcomes all creeds and color. My barber is always on time and listens to me on the style of haircut I prefer. It is best to set up appointments especially for the weekend to avoid long wait times. I never waited longer than fifteen minutes. The prices are very reasonable. Family-oriented, safe and clean. I recommend City Cuts to anyone looking for a great shop to call home.
