Go get yourself the perfect haircut from City Barber shop. I told Jerry what I wanted and he made it happen. Friendly environment really cool benches made from old truck tailgates wish I had taken a picture. It is a cash only business and a haircut is $15. They don’t take appointments just walk ins and look for the clipboard in between the two benches put your name on it.

My step son and I come regularly to get our haircut from John and Brandon and we’re never disappointed. Both barbers have a great sense of humor, are personable but, at the same time, take their job seriously and deliver an impressive haircut (so says my wife whose opinion on these matters typically carries more weight than mine would …hahaha) !

Although it is on the small side of the typical stores, it has 3 barber chairs and an absolute pleasure to be in. The owner and barber’s are on a first name basis with their customers, it has an “old time” feeling from the moment you enter, you will get a great haircut at a reasonable price, they are easy going and very patient with kids of all ages, you will feel as though you are one of the family here, seating may be a bit tight at times – but not only is it worth the wait – you can carry on a conservation with the other people there while waiting on just about any subject (clean language please). On a busy day you will probably see someone who you haven’t seen in a long time and catch up on what has been going on, and people from many other county’s may show up at anytime, Don’t be in a hurry or anything because they do you right and they aren’t satisfied until you are… The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because you may have to sit on the floor for a while… haha… But it is worth the wait and money… You won’t find another barber shop like this anymore. It’s a lost art and you will feel as though you have stepped back in time. Definitely worth the wait. The only reason I give up so much detail is that I wouldn’t have it any other way and would hate to have to make an appointment…

Best Barber in town and established over 60 years ago. Says something when a place can stay open in one spot that long.

For almost nothing, I consistently get a haircut which my wife raves about ( I have learned to trust her judgement on such matters more than my own .. hahahaha). Besides the just receiving a great haircut at a low price, the barber’s – John and Brandon – are friendly, fun, and professional. There’s a reason this barbershop is always crowded !
