First off this is a hidden treasure of East Windsor…. We need to always support local small business! Now that I said that…. Cindy’s soaps are unbeatable. The younique fragrance and looks of the bars of soap will make you fall inlove. I always walk out with multiple scents!! She always has new products to try. Many CBD products as well. With covid they offer. Locally-made mask and amazing smelling hand sanitizer. Along with season smells. Hand made soy candles.

Great handmade soaps and variety of other natural products. I love the sea weed face masks and her all natural chapsticks. My kids love the bath bombs she offers as well. A great place to get soaps for yourself and to make a gift for someone else!

Very disappointed in the soap! It is NOT natural. It is priced well over other soaps I have bought at local farmer’s markets and craft fairs that actually contain strictly natural ingredients. That said, I wouldn’t mind paying if the quality was there. It is not. It bought a scent that I know is an absolute favorite of mine- lavender. Since I was shopping with a mask on, I couldn’t smell the soap in the store, but I love lavender so it was a no brainer (or so I thought). When I got home, I realized it smelled nothing like lavender. Looking more closely at the label, I saw that it has essential oils (the types of which are not specified) and “fragrance.” And the fragrance smells bad. In hindsight, I should have read the label more closely in the store, but it never occurred to me that a goat milk soap would contain unnatural fragrances because I have never seen anything like this before! I can’t imagine anyone putting fake fragrance in an otherwise natural soap. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I made a mistake here as well, and the packaging is at least honest. But I will not be coming back. I don’t even know what to do with this expensive soap that I don’t even want to use…

I go to Cindy’s Soap Cottage when I come up from Florida to visit family in Enfield. I love the soaps, lotion, and CBD creme for pain. It’s such an adorable place.
