A horrible gel pedicure! Lumpy, uneven file and polish that will surely peel in upcoming days, bc the polish was placed on the skin around the nail bed. I can already see lifting of the polish after one day at work moving around. Gel polish usually lasts for weeks with me. This place used to be so reliable for great work and service. I don’t know what happened.

This is the first place I’ve ever gone to to get a Brazilian wax and I just stuck with it. It’s been years. I started out going to Jennifer and lately it’s been My but they both do an amazing job. The ambiance probably could be a little better. They get every single hair, and she makes it quick and that’s always a plus with something so painful. I love it here. Typically I call the day of and have no issues coming in soon after. I drive an hour plus just to come here and get waxed. I tried other places a little closer to home and instantly regretted it. I’m just so comfortable and satisfied here.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI usually go to Sunshine Nails because of the quality of services and the fact that they can do designs. Since moving to MD, I tried Cindy Nails and I was pleased with the level of care they put into COVID precautions. While it does make the place feel more cramped, I would rather be safe than sorry.I have been there twice for a full set gel nail and regular pedicure. Both times, my finger nails have been just the way I wanted considering the technicians don’t specialize in designs. The man doing my nails tonight cut me and did not apologize. He continued to do my nails and told me to relax. My nails are bulky and don’t look good at all and I am unable to make an appointment appointment to fix it.

Cindy nails employees are nice however the service is subpar compared to the expensive services. $47 for a basic pedicure!! basic meaning cuticles , sponge scrub and polish, and my feet were still rough . To compare I can go to a place near the mall and get their basic spa pedicure for $32 it includes cuticle , cut down, scrub , mask , hot towel, and callus remover.. So I wasn’t really impressed with Cindy nails and my feet needed another pedicure in one week.

I would not suggest coming to this nail salon if a basic acrylic nail cannot be done correctly. There was no discount offered or anything. The nails are extremely bulky, uneven , and misshapen. I have never had acrylic nails done so terribly in my life. This is literally the worst nail place I have ever been to. Please never go here for acrylics of any kind. I asked for a simple acrylic and got a lumpy, bulky, misshaped mess. I can’t believe the person who did my nails sat back and looked at their work and thought they did a good job. My nails are now so bulky, they will not come off and my fingers are bleeding. That is what I asked for and that is what I got. I’m so disappointed. Stuff like this absolutely ruins my day.

One star for their unique/expansive collection of colors to choose from upon entry. I can appreciate how challenging it must be to work here with the fumes, pace of clients, overhead costs, etc., but the arbitrary inflation in prices is somewhat unsettling. I’ve only been here twice and, each time, they had crossed out the former prices for services and penciled in with sharpie the new rates. Also, a friend of mine recently got an infection in her big toe after visiting Cindy’s (with her two children for what was supposed to be a fun spa experience)! They charged her the full mani/pedi price for her 3-year old and 6-year old, and showed zero concern for her health or well-being when she called to inform them of the cleanliness issue that led to her toe infection. I have personally seen them use opened tools from other jacuzzi tubs, so who knows if they’re sterilizing between customers. So gross and disturbing. Will not be going back there anytime soon.
