Derek & I (Jon) opened our first nail salon in 2007 calling it Cinderella Nails & Spa. The name Cinderella emphasized the importance of shoes can make a difference, and so can beautiful feet! From there, we envisioned a business where people can come to relax and feel at home. We believe in quality service, a sanitary environment, and a relaxing ambience. You can visit us at one of our four locations: Pearland Parkway, Baybrook, Kirby, and El Dorado. Truly Jon, Cinderella Nails & Spa Owner

Every day that I look at my nails and pedicure reminds me of just how terrible Kim is. She’s not kind, she doesn’t take instructions, she plays like she doesn’t understand English, she’s lazy, she rushes and half does the service. She cut all my nails off with an attitude of spite because, I didn’t want the fake nails that she wanted me to have. I explained that I only wanted an overlay. She jerked my hands and fingers, my nail has halfway come off after 5 days, the whole foot service was a joke, and I just gave my money away. I could say more. This is not my normal review. People here normally take good care of me and my elderly mother. I even gave Kim tip because, that’s just who I am but, she in no way deserved it! My advice is, If you get Kim, ask for someone else!

My friend and I came here once before about a year or so ago and had a good experience so we decided to go back. Our experience was the complete opposite. The receptionist was not friendly or welcoming at all. They started on my friends pedicure and was halfway done before they started mine. I got the $50 pedicure and it was not worth it. She didn’t do a good job at all. But we had already been there so long I didn’t bother saying anything. They forgot we wanted our eyebrows waxed and had to remind them. I went first and my friend was in the room with me. Little did I know the lady was reusing the same stick over and over for the wax. The signs specifically say for them not to do that. It’s UNSANITARY! My friend stated she was going to pass on hers, at the time I didn’t know what was happening because I couldn’t see her doing it. When we reached the receptionist to check out, we had to wait for her to get done talking to her coworker before she checked us out. My friend brought to her attention about the lady reusing the stick and her response was “and?” My friend explained that there were signs all over stating that they can’t do that. At that point I was not happy that happened. The receptionist just looked at her with a blank stare as if she didn’t care. She was extremely rude after that while we were checking out. I will be contacting the health department about this. $70 for a horrible, unsanitary experience at a place that’s supposed to be high end. I’m extremely disappointed. What is supposed to be a relaxing experience was a nightmare and we will never be back

This place used to be good before 2018 and since then every time I’ve been there the front desk never honors my points and coupons. There is always a different story and confusion around that and also the pricing in general. Beyond that there is an attitude at the front desk where they are not trying to make things right but just trying to be right and also not give the customers any options. They simply do not care and want you to leave so they can get off work. The services are also not the quality they used to be and not worth the $. There are plenty of other nail salons with nice staff, good prices and a clean atmosphere – not this one!

I’ve gone here several times & had minimal issues. Yesterday I went for a birthday girls day, our techs were great but the receptionist was SO rude. All of us had issues with how we were charged & she had an attitude with my sister- she didn’t like how the design she requested looked after it was done so we asked if she could have them redone. Thankfully they chose not to charge her extra to have them repainted but the receptionist rolled her eyes when she found out there wasn’t an additional charge. One of my friends had gel taken off her toes then repainted with gel as well as a fill in with gel. She was charged $95 when those services based on their site don’t cost that much. I had a pedicure & a full set mine was $105- I’d originally wanted dip but my tech couldn’t get the ombré to work with dip so she switched to acrylic which was fine but I was still charged for dip.

I LOVE seeing my go to girl mindy! She is always so nice and does an amazing job! I look forward to our chats and will forever ask for her! Their prices are comparable and waits are never too long.

Critical: Cleanliness, QualityI received a pedicure and full set- dip with a cuticle trim. I didn’t have any cuts on my finger, received a dry cuticle trim BEFORE the dip with tools that she grabbed from her caddy(should have asked for clean tools) My finger started hurting a week later, pain persisted and then I ended up at the hospital with a fungal infection of the nail bed and cuticle. It took 6 weeks for my finger to completely heal. IM 4 MONTHS PREGNANT! Clean your tools, and please do not get your nails done with a fungal infection anywhere on your body!! We have been loyal customers to Cinderella nails for years, but after this I’m not so sure. We made an appointment for 4 people at 2:30pm. We get there at 2:30 for our appointment and are told it will be at least a 20 minute wait. When asked why since we had an appointment she said because there are 2 walk-in ahead of us that need to be seen, which makes no sense since appointments should take precedence to walk in. 30 mins later we are still waiting, a lady comes in for her 3pm appointment and is taken right back. We asked the front desk ladies why a 3pm appointment is being seen before a 2:30 appointment, and she said it’s because their appointment was with a specific technician vs us who didn’t have a preference. After 40 minutes of waiting one in our party had to leave to go home as this wait was just unnecessary and ridiculous. It seems like they were short staffed, which I understand. There have been several times when we call to make an appointment but are told bc they are short staffed they couldn’t fit us in, no harm done. But today, instead Kaylee and Ashton (front desk employees), make our appointments and instead of honoring that appointment are letting walk in’s and later appointments go in first, they have no sense of how to manage customers, appointments and walk-in and all would say is that’s how it is. I will need to discuss this major concern with the manager John. Also, as I’m finishing this post, it’s been almost an hr and they just took one of our party back.

My tech was Mai. She did a good job, was very thorough. Made sure to get all of dead skin, clear cuticles, shape my ingrown. The basic pedicure is $25 and goes up in $5 increments for each level. There are separate rooms for services (nail room, pedicure, wax, etc.) Complete bar, you can choose between non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The mimosa was not very strong (served in actual wine glass, not plastic chinaware). My only complaint was waiting for my nails to dry. There was no drying station. At checkout, they enroll you in a rewards program with your cellphone number.
