I had the best experience with Senior Cosmetologist Stylist/CEO Victoria. I went in for the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Treatment and Splitend Treatment. Not only did the elasticity strength of my hair improved by 95% and is so much stronger, now my hair is so much healthier and frizz is gone. Not to mention my hair has grown so healthy and rapidly. I can now enjoy my workouts and not worry about the frustrations of losing my hairstyle. I would have to say that my hair is in its best shape ever. I came as a walk in with no real firm grasp of what I wanted. I was extremely fortunate that Ester was there early and was able to spend 3 hours with me. I came in with long beat up hair and no style. I am military I only wore it in a bun. I trusted her with cut, color, and style. She took everything I said to heart and she gave me a very nice cut. It’s a slow process to go through having no real hair style other than long for decades. She made it vibrant, beautiful and a comfortable experience. She did a great job waxing my eyebrows as well. I would definitely return to this salon and I would recommend Ester. I am a white chick with thin pin straight hair, she did a great job. I would recommend this salon.

LOVED IT!!! From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. Victoria was AWESOME, very skilled and knowledgeable when it came to my hair, and very personable. You can tell this is a place where the stylists take pride and joy in the work they do. It’s crazy how I’ve lived in the area all my life, but I had NEVER been down Main Street. I found out about this gem through a social media recommendation; so glad I went! And I will definitely be going back!

I have worn long hair for most of my life with very little variety in style. My ‘go to’ style has been a huge puff atop my head, pulled up with a string….for every occasion. I resigned myself to have a short, soft-looking, femine haircut. But, I resemble three of my brothers moreso than I resemble my sisters, so, for someone who spent most of my adult life wearing no jewelry or make up, my not so soft, not so feminine-looking face sppeared boyish. I seldom washed my hair, but I brushed my hair daily…on the outter visible parts. The inner parts had matted together like locks. On one morning, I googled hair salons all over the Laurel area, then drove around Laurel that same morning, to several shops in a one hour time frame. Joy of Ciao Bella answered the phone, and gave me an appointment to be seen within an hour and 15 minutes of my call. She listened intently to my concerns, ‘was gentle, attentive, kind, professional, answered all of my questions, and was knowledgeable about hair care and hair care products. She washed, moisturized, and patiently, gently detangled my terribly matted, neglected hair, and gave me the cut I showed her in the picture I had brought. She did not charge a fortune or any extra fees (I would have gladly agreed she had the right to), to my surprise. She charged the standard rate she quoted me on the phone after I had described the abuse I’d given my thick, coarse, natural hair. As long as I keep my hair short, Joy is a hair stylist I can depend on for my hair care advise and maintenance.

I went there with my sister, when i asked how much for hair cut, she said hair cut is 30 dollars. Every other place you go to, hair cut would involve hair wash or some kind of hair moisture before a proper cut could be made. The person who cut my hair, just took my pony off and brushed it and started to cut my hair…i thought she probably had a different approach to it, after 10 mins she is done, i look at my hair and nothing was different than the last. My sister on the other hand she had gone before me, she went for the full hair cut and style, but for her too she did not wash her hair and went straight to cut, but spent some time styling it!…In the end, I ended up paying 80 dollars for an unwashed and unstyled hair! DO NOT GO, unless you want to be ripped off! Horrible service and even after making an appointment, had to wait 30 mins!…POOR overall
