Dan has been cutting my hair for 11 years. There used to be 3 barbers here, and one of them was Chuck (who owned the place forever). When Chucks old age prevented him from being able to work any longer, he sold the shop to Dan. This has always been a locally owned shop. Dan’s wife Lily helps out in the shop and has a nail salon in the back. Their kids are also around sometimes. A real family place. Dan is a really good barber. His prices are super reasonable. No appointments. You usually have to wait 10-20 minutes. Cash only. I highly recommend.

Went in yesterday after not having been to Chuck’s in quite a while. At first I was a little skeptical as things looked different and I didn’t see the barber I normally go to. So glad I stayed! Dan and his wife did such a great job. They are both very kind and I got one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. I’m a guy that usually find a great barber and that person is the only person I go to and Dan is definitely that guy from now on.

Chuck’s Barber Shop is the kind of place a man should go to get his hair cut. All of the barbers are friendly and very skilled. Chuck does an exceptional job with any style of cut, and his attention to detail is extraordinary…he must instill this quality in his fellow barbers because every one of them take genuine care throughout the process. I happened into Dan’s chair a couple years ago, and after building a bond I always wait for him. Dan is a meticulous perfectionist, yet he moves very efficiently through each customer, leaving no one waiting for too long. As any respectable barber should, they finish cuts with a hot shaving cream shave with straight razor. I’ve only been in Denver a few years, and places like Chuck’s make it feel like home.
