Chris took me as a walk-in & got me in as fast as possible. He was friendly, but not overly talkative, which I prefer. I was a first time in the shop client. I showed him about three different pictures I had saved off Google as a reference to what I wanted my hair to look like. He took his time, and did an excellent job. I mean, the guy just nailed it. I walked in there with my self-confidence kinda low, looking like an overgrown scraggly mess, and Chris made me walk out of Chubby’s feeling like hot sh*t & looking my best. I’ve received so many compliments already. Chris gave me a haircut that is in the top 2 favorite haircuts I’ve ever had. EVER!

Chubbs the owner and his business are exceptional! I’ve always prided myself in finding Stylists that do excellent work. Roeina goes far beyond any experience I’ve ever had. I will NOT go any other place. She takes great care in getting things exactly right and insures I get what’s asked for. There’s so much more to the atmosphere! They include refreshments and plug me in to the community. You feel a part of something at Chubbs! Pineapple grove happiness! If you were there you know what I mean!

Just moved to town and noticed Chubby’s when walking around Main St. Saw the ***** rating here and decided to give them a try since I need to find a new barber / stylist, and I was not disappointed! Sat in Rocina’s chair (she goes by Ro’s Cuts on her card), and was impressed by her accurate swiftness with the cutters and scissors. My wife commented that she thinks this is the best cut I’ve had in a couple years, and she really liked my previous guy’s work.

The staff was welcoming and professional. I was a walk in customer and though the place was busy with existing reservations, Queen immediately found a time for me. I wasn’t expecting to get a hair-cut in Bastrop on a day visit from Austin, but it turned out to be the best part of my Saturday. Friendly shop … Walked in, which today isn’t the way people do things … But I’m an old guy, so whatever. Ronni was able to fit me in. Got a very good haircut. Ronni was kind and attentive and it was appreciated. Nice spot, good staff, and donuts next door. What more do you need.

Tried them out to get away from the big chain quantity over quality. Ronnie was very personable and knows her way around the clippers. Listens to what you want and makes it happen. Will def be back for that fresh fade!
